The UHF-8800 from VocoPro is a wireless microphone system with 8 individual handheld mics. Assembling multiple wireless microphone systems can be difficult and confusing, but this system was designed to make set-up and operation as easy as possible. Color coded microphones and receiver units make it clear what controls need to be adjusted, and mixed outputs are provided that simplify connecting to a sound system.
The UHF-8800 was designed to be mounted in a standard 19" rack. The four receiver units are easy to remove from the chassis in the event that they need to be serviced. This is extremely important if you rely on this system for business purposes, rehearsals, or performances. You can continue to operate the system with the working units, even while the receivers that need service are removed from the rack.
Each handheld microphone with its built-in wireless transmitter runs on two standard AA batteries. They can operate for 12 hours on fresh batteries, which is enough time to get you through karaoke marathons, lengthy business presentations, etc. The UHF-8800 is the ideal system for anyone who doesn't want to worry about set-up, operation, or downtime when repairs are needed.

Comments about VocoPro UHF-8800 - 8 Channel UHF Wireless Microphone System:
I am using this product for in-house productions at our community center. I love that it has the ability to project 8 mics.
Of course you must have the amps to plug them into and I am hoping the sound won't cut in and out, but overall this is a perfect product for recreational use.

Comments about VocoPro UHF-8800 - 8 Channel UHF Wireless Microphone System:
Great system and easy to use. Worked perfectly for our Church. Surprisingly good sound which was not expected. Good solid mics that have been working for a while with no problems. In terms of cost vs. benefit, this system is hard to beat.

Comments about VocoPro UHF-8800 - 8 Channel UHF Wireless Microphone System:
we purchased this product with the intentions of replacing our corded mics with wireless. This product was recommended to us. It filled our needs. It was well within our budget. However, when we set up the product, there was to much bleed-over from the signals overlapping. I have many reviews on this product and they seem about 50/50. In the end, they didn't work for us.

Comments about VocoPro UHF-8800 - 8 Channel UHF Wireless Microphone System:
The 8 mic system is interfering on frequencies and is not because of the digital tv stations or fluorescent lights, but the mics themselves. When interfering they create a white noise on that channel. You can not use all 8 mics at once. Maybe 4 at best. Returning them today.

Comments about VocoPro UHF-8800 - 8 Channel UHF Wireless Microphone System:
I am an electronics technician with plenty of experience in audio and sound systems. Ordered the 8 Mics system for our church in Orange County, CA based on others reviews but they are unusable and I am returning them today after two weeks of testing. Maybe the 2 or 4 mics system may work but not the 8. I tested it on tho different location at two cities away from each other with the same result. Their radio Frequency will interfere with each other and there is no adjustment for it. The result is flashes of white noise or feedback like effect. It is not about interference from other sources like Digital TV stations or Fluorescent Lights as the manual warns, because if the mics are OFF and receiver ON, there is no signal seen by the receiver or noise or anything. As soon as you turn on two or three mics from one row, another channel from the the other row will show intermittent signal which is outputted as white noise or feedback. Even the same row of mics will create interference with each other sometimes, especially the bottom row. I tried with antenna installed and without. I tried to identify a defective channel. Nothing works as the interference is not constant but related to the mics position from each other and from receiver. [...]Although they sound good and look good and well built I can not recommend the 8 mic system to anyone. The manual is very poor written There is no information what so ever about the LED on the mics or the meaning of its red flashing when you turn the mic ON.

Comments about VocoPro UHF-8800 - 8 Channel UHF Wireless Microphone System:
You get what you pay for. I purchased these mics for our praise team at church. The quality of the mics is excellent and is as good as an SM58 wired. Yes, I said as good as a SM58! The workmanship is a different story. When the unit arrived 2 of the channels and/or mics did not work. Vocopro is not the easiest to deal with. [...] Also, the price fluctuates at B&H, so check back often during the two weeks following your purchase. [...] Keep in mind that digital TV stations can interfere with these mics. Check the frequencies at [@] Frequency Finder (UHF-R).

Comments about VocoPro UHF-8800 - 8 Channel UHF Wireless Microphone System:
I'd would say that these microphones work decent for the money. Our praise team at church mainly uses these mics. At first the mics were getting a good bit of feedback then we moved the receiver to a more distant location. It will take a session to tweak the mics to perfection, but it can be done. They have good range and they support a good battery life. They are rather sensitive and pick up sound quite easily. The only problem we have out of them is that on arrival two units did not work. We are in the process of getting that taken care of. But you can't beat the deal, for a little under [$] you get 8 mics plus a three year warranty. Sound solid to me. I would recommend.
