The set features ATSC and NTSC tuning for watching all your local broadcast channels on the bright 7 inch display. The included external antenna helps pull in the strongest signal possible. Aside from watching DVDs, the built-in DVD player also supports CDs, including CD-R and CD-RW media.
No matter what channel or media option you want to enjoy the SC-491 can be set to 16:9 (wide) or 4:3 (standard) viewing modes for the best possible experience to fit your choice. In addition, three power sources ensure viewing in any number of settings, while other amenities, such as a headphone output, remote control, and on display controls, give you convenience options.

I've had mine for two years now. Got it from[@] for[$] on sale and it has been in my van through the freezing and ungodly heat!! Has always worked and gets great reception all the time. USB is a nice touch when you just wanna look at some pics or some videos. For the money I can't find a thing wrong with it. Best money I've spent in a while. Awesome value. I purchased a mobile antenna from Pilot truck stop for 24.00. Makes a big difference. When in a city you can even watch SOME channels while moving! Enjoy..

I shopped around online and in stores and was unsuccesfull locating what I wanted. I was referred by another B&H customer and found what I wanted on my first visit to their site. I am a [...] Bus Driver and spend a lot of time on the road so this portable tv/dvd was perfect! Since receiving it in a timely manner I am enjoying the tv. It's simple to hook up and use and I like that it has a battery built in. The only drawback to the product is that is hard to hear at 100%.. I would still purchase another knowing even that!

From the moment I opened the box and followed easy set up steps, my wife couldn't have been happier. Hooked up attached telescope antenna and reception was much better than anticipated. Very clear picture. Used DVD and was more amazed at the clearity and high defintion of the picture.
Wife takes to work and either uses for news, favorite programs or to watch videos during breaks. highly recommend this product.
