The SC-499D has ATSC and NTSC tuners to pull in all your local stations, and the 9" 640 x 234 LCD screen makes your programs look crisp and bright, whether viewed in 16:9 (wide) or 4:3 (standard) aspect ratio. When you'd rather watch movies and shows from your own files, use the mini USB port or the SD/MMC/MS card slot to do just that.
Using the TV's on screen display, you can tailor the video and audio to suit your tastes with easy adjustment of brightness, color, contrast, and hue. A digital volume control lets you raise or lower audio levels, and the auto channel programming feature and digital up/down tuning make it a snap to change channels. It's all under your command with the included full function remote control.You'll never be at a loss for ways to power the SC-499D. In addition to its built-in rechargeable lithium battery, the set comes with a 100-240V AC adapter for home use, and a 12V DC adapter for viewing in the car, at least by back-seat passengers. I wanted a small TV to sit on my kitchen counter (not hang from the cupboard) This is a great size, easy to set up and get ready to use.
I did find the channel numbers seem to come in differently that my old ones but I quickly adjusted.

Before ordering, I consulted personal friends VERY knowledgable of electronics and learned two members of their family (one, a prof. photographer) have used B&H and highly recommended your company. As for the SC-499D 9" Portable Digital LCD TV by Supersonic, I would not make any changes and do not feel there is a better "like" product available!
