Svat Indoor/Outdoor Color Camera w/Night Vision
The SVAT VU5 is an inexpensive bullet camera that delivers a good quality picture of 400 TVL video resolution. It also comes with IR illumination to provide you with visible images even in the dark up to 15' away. A weatherproof metal casing plus an integrated sun visor allows indoor or outdoor camera placement while prolonging the life of the camera. Installation is a simple affair thanks to the included mount and 60' connecting cable, which carries both video and power.

The 11 infrared (IR) LEDs activate automatically when it becomes dark and deactivate during the day to save energy. Bought 7 of these for security in and outside the house. Night vision works great in the garage; I can clearly see my vehicle and know it's resting peacefully. Outdoors the IR does not go the far, but I did not expect it to since it's in the specificatioms. RCA connectors are low grade with paper-thin barrels but you get what you pay for.

Bought 7 of these for security im amd outside the house. Night visiom works great im the garage; I can clearly see my vehicle amd know it;s resting peacefully. I use this camera to monitor a back office equipmemt room at our radio studio. Night vision mode allows us to turn off the lights and still see all the gear clearly in the dark. Resolution is good enough to monitor level meters and indicator lights. Great value for the price.

I have 2 to watch my driveway at night.. the led's are a little weak but still allow me to see if anyone is near my cars..detail is another story. I may buy a infred led light to sharpen the images at night. day picture is great.
