Comments about Bushnell Trophy XLT 3-9x40 Riflescope (Matte Black):
Very clear, and alignment knobs are a dream w/no tools needed. Good in low light & already survived a couple good whacks. Zoom is adequate (100m) smooth & fairly sharp throughout. My only beef is the Multi-X reticle is thicker than I'd like at the center. Otherwise, no better 100 bucks for 100+ yards.

Comments about Bushnell Trophy XLT 3-9x40 Riflescope (Matte Black):
Nice for the price, caps are a bonus, and sighting was a snap (only 3 cycles) with the no-tool click adjusters. Although not the sharpest image (would be a 5 otherwise), very good in low light. Haven't taken much of a beating yet, but has gotten rained on, wacked into a tree, and dropped a foot+ onto my truck bed (on the rifle). So far, so good...very happy!

This is a decent scope for the money. The flip up covers are in the package but the rear cover will get your nose with the flip button. Eye relief is a little touchy.

Comments about Bushnell Trophy XLT 3-9x40 Riflescope (Matte Black):
The bushnell trophy xlt I bought performed as expected. The lens was very clear and bright even in dim light conditions.I have friends who have more expensive scopes and they could not tell the difference in quality. You can't beat the price.
Comments about Bushnell Trophy XLT 3-9x40 Riflescope (Matte Black):
Very clear optics and a solid well made scope. I mounted it on a H&R Handi Rifle in 223 but have not sighted in yet do to northeast weather. Excellent scope for the money, plus it came with Butler Creek scope caps.

I mounted this scope on my new Savage 30 06 bolt action and couldn't be happier...I was in the black at 100 yards after 3 rounds and consistently getting under an inch groups...several two shots in the same hole with one half an inch away[...].Great company!
