Comments about Benro C-358 Extra-Low Carbon Fiber Center Column:

When they said "Extra-Low", they really mean it! This thing is about 6 inches long and it is great. I use it with my Benro c328 which allows it to go VERY low to the ground.

I rarely pull this out since center columns destabilizes. So it does the job quite well.

Comments about Benro C-358 Extra-Low Carbon Fiber Center Column:

I bought this short column to replace the standard one on my Induro CT314. Basically, this allows me to bring the tripod down to the ground much further. It also makes the tripod lighter, but honestly, I can't really tell. I don't like to use a column anyway, so this is the next best thing to not even having one. Perfect product that does what it is intended for and nothing more.

        MUST-HAVE ACCESSORY

Comments about Benro C-358 Extra-Low Carbon Fiber Center Column:

This short center column replaces the standard center column of the Induro "3 Series" (e.g., CT314)tripods. The change-over from one to the other takes about a minute using the tool kit included with the Induro tripods. The short center column is needed to enable the lowest possible positioning of the tripod. I consider this a must-have accessory for landscape and wildlife work.
