Use the Apple Nike + iPod Sport Kit to track your workouts, set goals, and keep the rhythm going. The kit comes with a sensor to put in one of your Nike+ shoes and a receiver which connects to your iPod nano. iPod touch and 3GS and later models of the iPhone include built-in support for Nike + iPod, so there's no need to use the receiver with those models. The Sport Kit can also be used at the gym for tracking your workout with Nike + iPod compatible cardio equipment. When you're all done working out sync your iPod to your Mac or PC. Your computer and iTunes automatically send your workout info to nikeplus.com for a number of ways to gauge your progress and connect with other runners and challenge friends.

Comments about Apple Nike + iPod Sport Kit:
Easy set-up, just insert Nike sensor on Nike enable shoe, download Nike app on you iPhone/iPod, choose any of the four intuitive workouts (Basic, Time, Distance, Calorie) and start running!
The app allows fun customization by syncing workout with iTunes music library, it can be a power song(s), a playlist, or any audio in your iTunes library.
Nike voice over feedback gives runner detail updates such as; remaining time, calories, etc.
Once finished the workout the Nike app gives the user a detail summary, which can be archived for tracking future progress. Summary can also be uploaded to Nike's +iPod website, ideal for comparing results with other users' profiles.

The chip goes in a specialized Nike running shoe that has a slot for it, then you plug it into the ipod, and run run run.

Comments about Apple Nike + iPod Sport Kit:
I have to admit that it really rocks.
It brought me into running again, after I lost my passion for running a few months ago.
However, as others said, it is not that accurate when it comes to the total miles for run. Calibration does not work well.

Comments about Apple Nike + iPod Sport Kit:
Didnt line up exactly out of the box with my garmin, but it was within .25 miles over a 5 mile run. I have yet to calibrate it, need to get to a track to plot out exactly 1 mile.

Comments about Apple Nike + iPod Sport Kit:
I put the sensor in the built-in pocket under the insole in my new pair of Nike+ walking shoes, turned on my 3G iPhone, went through the settings and was ready to go in minutes. I can listen to music while the sensor keeps track of my distance. It even has real-time voice feedback. So far, I love it.
