Coby CAM4000 SNAPP Mini Digital Camcorder/Camera
The budget-minded among us will appreciate the CAM4000 SNAPP Mini Digital Camcorder/Camera from Coby. This entry-level pocket cam features straight-forward capture of standard definition 640 x 480 videos for posting to the Internet, emailing, or sharing on your TV. In addition to video capture the CAM4000 also takes digital stills. The camera has a pistol-grip design and easy-to-use controls, and there's even a flip-out 2.4" LCD screen that swivels for capturing video from often hard-to-get angles. And like most point-and-shoot camcorders the CAM4000 has a fixed focus lens with a little room for adjustment thanks to a 4x digital zoom. A 32MB internal memory and SD/SDHC memory cards provide for more than 2 hours of video storage.
When you're ready to share all your memories online the Arcsoft Media Impression software helps you edit and post your videos to the 'net. The CAM4000 also does double-duty as a webcam for real-time chatting with all your Internet buddies. When the batteries run low replacing them is easy. Just pop in 3 'AAA' batteries and you're good to go for another 1.5 hours.

We were hesitant to purchase the Coby SNAPP seeing as how it was so much cheaper than the othters, but we were pleasantly surprised! It is so easy to use that our 3 year old can work it. It's not high def, but still has good picture quality. Very pleased with our purchase.

Perfect go-to camera for my daughter and I.
Great for everyday beach walks or park trips. She's 6 and loves using it to make movies of her room, toys, whatever - it's great and she loves it! I love it because I can throw it in my pocket quickly and take it with us to capture her at the beach or the park.
