The leather surface is nice and feels durable and should last a long time. The sticky part is well thought out for placement and looks. You have to take your time to make it fit just right. Remember to test fit before you apply it, I have a keyboard protector and I had to cut off the very top strip. This was so it would close, everything else fits and allows the laptop to close.
I Highly recommend this and a keyboard protector if you are like me and want you MacBook protected.
