Comments about Voigtlander Color Skopar 28mm f/3.5 Lens:
Great little lens, bought mine from B&H used for [$]! I would buy it new, though. It's inexpensive, fits in your pocket, takes very detailed, color-rich photos on an M8 or any number of Ms. I cannot stress enough how well made this lens is. I know that no one will believe me and that is fine, but the construction and finish is every bit up to that of my new chrome 50mm Summilux ASPH, my old 90mm Summicron SOOZI, etc. Fit and finish is better than the new black paint Leica lenses that I've used (16-21mm Tri, 18mm, Summarits). Image quality isn't up to the Elmarit-M ASPH, but it's pretty good. A definite must have for the Leica traveler!

Comments about Voigtlander Color Skopar 28mm f/3.5 Lens:
I have a M7 0.85.
M7 does not have 28mm frame line, but just shoot every thing I can see in the finder is working fine.
Good thing about this lens is chrome, not silver anodized.
Although this is SM, Close focus is .7 meters!.
For my B&W photo, it gives me satisfactory results.
Discontinued around 2007, but B&H still have it.
Be hurry to get this treasure!
