The Leica Hand Grip M9 replaces the standard base plate and attaches to the base of the digital M9 camera, adding a convenient grip to its right side. Its ergonomic design is great for holding the camera more comfortably, particularly with high-speed lenses during long shooting sessions.

Comments about Leica Hand Grip M9 (Steel Grey):
The M9 is a perfectly balanced camera, but for many fans like myself, the addition of the handgrip adds that final little bit extra to the Leica handling experience.

Comments about Leica Hand Grip M9 (Steel Grey):
This is an almost must-have accessory. The weight of the M9 body is such that if you are using any lens larger than one of the smaller Leica lenses such as the 50 F2.5 then camera and lens balance is pretty good. However, if you use a larger Leica lens -- I am using a 75 F2 lens -- then the camera and lens balance is weighted forward and using this hand grip helps to stabilize the camera lens combo.
