Live Intro from Ableton is music production software that is based on the full version of Ableton Live, but at a greatly reduced price. Whether for a talented newcomer or a seasoned professional, Live Intro delivers the essential features needed for writing songs, making beats, recording and remixing, DJ'ing and performing music live on stage.
For those just starting out in digital audio, the software delivers fluid workflow, real-time audio manipulation and a 7GB audio content package that provide all the tools necessary to step into the world of music production and digital DJ'ing. For established DJs and producers, Intro provides studio-quality sound and an opportunity to add Live's composition and performance features into any current setup, for the price of a plug-in.
While Live Intro obviously isn't the same as Ableton Live or Ableton Suite, the company has made sure that the necessary limitations won't affect the sound or the quality of the music made with this software. The limitations are "quantitative" rather than "qualitative", with an audio track limit of 64 tracks with 2 effect sends per track, and a maximum of 12 Ableton effects and 8 instruments available in a single session. There is also no provision for working with video.

Comments about Ableton Live Intro - Music Production Software:
It's such a great product and does a lot of things that you need it to do for music. The only downside to it though is that it is pretty confusing if you've never used any type of production software before.
