The HonlPhoto Filter Kit: Sampler is a set of filters that attach to the front of your flash's lens. This sampler includes each filter in the HonlPhoto Color Effects and Color Correction Kits. These filters attach to the HonlPhoto Speed Strap (sold separately) and can be used in tandem with other HonlPhoto flash accessories. The usable filter area is 2.5 x 4" (6.35 x 10.2cm) and can be trimmed with scissors to fit your individual strobe unit.

This is a great sampler filter kit by Honl. A must for any photographer. It contains your basic filters for shooting flash in daylight, tungsten and flourescent lighting conditions. The filters are already precut with velcro on the edges and perfectly sized to fit on speedlites and most related flash heads. Using the Honl filters with the Honl speedstrap on your flashhead makes it so easy to peel one filter off and replace with another as you come and go into differing lighting scenarios. A great buy!

Used with a Canon 550EX Speedlite and Honl Speedstrap. Doesn't get any easier than this and the sampler is nice because it includes every color correction filter and every color effects filter. It has one of each for a total of 10 filters whereas the CC package has 2 each of 5 colors and the Color Effects has 2 each of 5 colors. Perfect starter set!

The Honl system is very versatile. I like how you don't have to have sticky velcro on the flash itself. The Sampler provides a good range of gels to do a lot of different things. Perfect for the beginner who needs the essentials (CTO, etc.) but would like to have the option of mixing things up. Good quality.
