The Audio-Technica ATR1100 Unidirectional Microphone is a general purpose handheld microphone, well suited for vocal and instrument capturing in public address and recording applications. This cost effective dynamic microphone features a unidirectional (cardioid) polar pattern, on/off switch 10' (3m) attached cable, 1/8" (3.5mm) mini output connection and mini to 1/4" phone adapter.

For the money you won't find a better microphone! Much better quality and more features than a Sony microphone I was looking at and the price was so much better too. Comes with a 10' long cord and an on/off switch which some mic's do not have. You do have to speak directly in to the mic and have it close to your mouth for it to pick up sound but that is good as you then don't pick up alot of background noise or feedback. Would definately recommend this mic and would purchase again. Thank you!
