This thing picks up a LOT of dust from your vinyl... The liquid solution works, however, how much can one expect simply rubbing a liquid on a dirty surface to REALLY clean? This system is great for record maintenance but if you have a really filthy record you might need to do more... Overall I do recommend this product...

Good for touch up but not if your LPs have smudges. I haven't listened to my LPs in 10 years and some need deeper cleaning, for which this doesn't work. For better or worse, I'm washing them with a mild detergent, then using this and they seem fine.
