The Cokin CBAD701 Digi Shoe Filter Holder is an "A" series holder that screws into the tripod adapter on a point and shoot camera. A screw slides inside the groves of the Holder and permits correct positioning of the Holder on the bottom of the camera. The "A" series filters easily slide into the Holder thus opening up creative avenues for your images.

Comments about Cokin CBAD701 Digi Shoe Filter Holder ("A" Series):
Sadly the Cokin web site is so far out of date, information about camera's this will fit is very lacking. In the UK this item is also known as a Cokin A300. Coupled with the difficulties Cokin are currently experiencing, customer service is non existent, even from the main UK importers. I have two Panasonic TZ pocket camera's and quite a few A series Cokin filters. Here in the UK when you go to a live music gig, you cannot take an SLR into a gig but you can take in a pocket camera. It will allow me the chance to take some great pictures and HD movie clips at gigs and use my Cokin A series filters for effects. My first problem was to get information on dimensions to see if it would fit my camera, that was simply not possible. The second was to actually lay hands on stock. I achieved the second aim at quite some risk, literally having to buy blind because I could not get the dimensions. Thankfully I managed to buy it from B+H, [...] The lens on the TZ extends 50mm from the tripod mount point, this leaves room to spare between the lens and the filter. This item, when attached to the TZ range produces some excellent results, if used with care, (watch out for reflection of the front of the lens being shown on the rear of filter in the shots), so try to adjust the filter back to the lens before taking the shot. One poor aspect of it, is build. It is plastic and therefore not that solid. It would not take much effort to produce one out of a stronger material such as aluminium. It does have tremendous adjustment and will fit larger camera's, what a shame Cokin's web site cannot show the dimensions of it. This does produce some great results and is well worth buying, if you can find one.
