This Bonica G8V15 LED Video Light has six 3W (15W total) LED bulbs that provide 1500 lumens of light. Eight 2400 mAh NiMH rechargeable AA batteries power the light for 60 minutes of full-power burn time. The LED bulbs run at a cool temperature, so the light can be used above and below the surface.
Lights are extremely important for your underwater imaging system. The ocean is one big, blue filter. As you descend, the reds and oranges quickly become muted shades of blue and gray. Shining a color corrected light source on your subject will bring back your subjects' natural color. The G8V15 with its daylight balanced 6500° K LED bulbs is the perfect light for this purpose. The 60° beam angle is wide enough for wide scenes, and the light does not produce hot spots.

Comments about Bonica G8V15 LED Video Light (Head Only):
The light give a lot of light as long as they work. However, they wont last longer than 1 or max 2 years. Dimmer switch stopped working on all 4 light I've had. Also Dimmer switch has an o-ring which is inside the knob. Because you can get it out you can't service is. A matter of time before the light floods.
The first set broke down and was replaced by Bonica. But it cost me shipping costs and import duty! 2nd set broke down and they wanted me to send it in. Meaning, again shipping costs; costs for repair and again import duty.

Comments about Bonica G8V15 LED Video Light (Head Only):
I use two light on a Amphibico Evo Pro housing. The light is a very good performer. Powerful; right color temp, so no visible hotspots or orange glow; lightweight; no batt pack or cables which are always in the way. Also, most videolight use batt-packs. If on a dive-trip something goes wrong with the pack you have a big problem. AA's are available all over the world so no surprises. Only the very first series which I bought had an issue with the front o-ring. Bonica had already upgraded the construction and solved that quick an very professionally. Technically there's no problem anymore. My set survived about 100 video-dives.[...]

Comments about Bonica G8V15 LED Video Light (Head Only):
Emits great light. The screw-on cap is not the best design. The o-ring is nothing special. But, the marketing genius is selling them for $20 each.

Comments about Bonica G8V15 LED Video Light (Head Only):
I bought this video light to enable me to take macro shots without the need for an external flash.
On the first dive I noticed a couple of drops of water on the front lens. This could only be from condensation during the flight. I removed the water but over then next 10 dives 3 of the LEDs failed. There was no obvious ingres of water. By the time I got home and opened the system it was clear that the system had suffered from water damage to the LED mounts. This could only be condensation as there was never any sign of the system flooding. There is no option to put Silica Gel anywhere. The unit is now useless.
