The Norton Ghost 15.0 Software for Windows from Symantec allows you to create a full system backup that you can use to restore your computer in the event of a hard drive failure or major system problem. Ghost allows you to backup to any type of media, including Blu-ray, DVD, and CD discs, external hard drives or Iomega Zip and Jaz disks. You can even schedule incremental backups, allowing you to backup only items that have changed since your last backup. Ghost is an excellent option for backing up and quickly restoring your computer system.

Windows 7 backup stopped working on 2 of our PC's. Purchased 3 of the Norton Ghost 15.0 for 2 desktop and 1 laptop PC and 100% satisfied.
Norton Ghost is quite similar to the older product which I used on Windows XP which then was called Norton Save and Restore 2.0
You cannot go wrong with any Norton products.
Google searches show lots of people have problems with Windows 7 backupss. I want to be safe and have a reliable whole system backup so that is why I chose to buy Norton Ghost 15.0 for all my PC's.

I am a Microsoft Certified System Engineer and I felt like I was wrestling with a bear when trying to transfer a disc image to a new drive. I have always been a fan of former Ghost products but would advise anyone to avoid version 15. This one just does not work.

I am using this program to backup my computer's vital software and to create a system image in the case of a hard drive failure. I have had a computer hard drive failure and although I have had the data backed up on external drives I did lose the system image and spent many hours reinstalling the software and hardware back onto the computer. By creating a system image with Norton ghost I will not have to go through that again. I can just use the repair disk created by ghost to start up the computer and point the computer to the system image that Norton ghost created and within a few minutes instead of hours I am back up and running.
