It does provide proper cushion, but honestly It is too bog, way too big for 13.3" Macbook Air. 13.3" Macbook Air is 9"X12.75" and the sleeve is 10"X13", so it is precisely 1" bigger on 9" end, which may not sound as much, but for one who coughs up over $1000 a thin-low profile laptop, it too much, and totally unnecessary. Please spend $5-10 more and get something that fits right.

I use this product for my personal use and it works great for what I use it for. I primarily use it to store my 13.3" laptop. It fits great and is snug. I use it to store in my backpack while moving from place to place. It has a slim look and is just perfect for it's purpose. You can store this in any suite case, backpack, or just any laptop case. Works great!!

I ordered this laptop sleeve because honestly it was the cheapest one and the one I wanted was not availible. This one is too large for my 12 inch netbook but it serves it's purpose protecting my computer. The zipper works good and it does in fact repel water. Not a bad product for what you pay for it, just not the right fit I was looking for.
