International orders*The Gameseeker 3-9x40 Riflescope from Pentax is accurate, rugged, and conservatively priced. The main tube features one-piece construction for rugged dependability, and it is nitrogen purged for clear viewing at all times. A bright and sharp sight picture that even a seasoned hunter can appreciate is made possible by Pentax's legendary multicoating on precision ground all glass lenses. Shot-to-shot repeatability is ensured by the 1/4 MOA precision adjustments and Pentax's proprietary Precision Plex reticle.
A mounting base and rings are used to attach a riflescope to a firearm. A comfortable sight picture is contingent upon the height of the rings. A comfortable cheek-weld is the result of properly positioning the scope over the receiver. Mounting the scope close to the receiver is preferable, yet scopes with larger objectives need higher rings so the front bell can clear the barrel. It should be noted that in many mounting applications, a professional gunsmith's skills will be needed for proper installation.

Comments about Pentax Gameseeker II 3-9x40 Riflescope (Matte Black):
The scope is an OK scope. I think in general you always get what you pay for and this scope is no exception to that rule. The scope works and that's about all I can say. It's ok in low light. The crosshairs are very fine and hard to see in low light. I did bag a deer with the muzzleloader the scope is attached to--so again it works. I do think that you could find a scope of similiar quality for about half the price. I bought the scope based on the positive reviews. My guess now is that they have never looked through a really nice scope. I have a Leaupold 50MM VXL and this one does not even come close. Some reviews will tell you it works as well--they have never owned a good scope or can't see anyway.
