I first bought the more expensive AT cables and XLR's for my new to me Panasonic DVC80 cam. Imagine my surprise when occasional audible hum ruined an interview, and was a problem during subsequent testing. 7 year old camera? Nope! I threw out the bad cables and tried these. They are great. Save $3, get another 5 ft. and be thrilled with awesome, clean audio!

Bought this to run from my camera to my shotgun mic on a boom pole. No issues. Solid cable, great price. Plus it's always good to have a solid XLR as a backup in case your wireless goes. We all know that can happen.

Couldn't believe the price of this 20' mic cable. Purchased as a replacement cable for my Church. Was surprised at the thick insulation of the cable itself which lends itself to durability. Highly satisfied with this product.

Comments about Audio-Technica AT8313-25 XLRF - XLRM Balanced Microphone Cable 25' (7.6 m):
We use the XLR cable to connect our Canon XHA1S to our AZDEN SGM-2X microphone on a 5' boom pole. We get a little bit of static using the windscreen that comes with the microphone (we don't have a deadcat yet), but we're not sure if that's the cord or the microphone's fault. Either way, it's very minor and easily fixed in Adobe Soundbooth when we need to (we currently have CS5), and when we're rendering our files out to H264 for internet upload, it doesn't matter anyway.
So far we've had no problems with the cord; we've just ordered another one to get to 50'. Warning to starting videographers: 25' gets eaten up quickly when the guy with the boom pole is walking around (I was that guy for our last shooting), even in a small room. Get two of these or just get a longer cord.
We're a start-up company, so it was a pleasure to get such a great cord for this price, especially with the clips on either end which you really don't want to go without. No cons to report.

Name brand cord at an insanely great price. The label says "value" series, which makes me wonder what the others are....the spend extra series? These are good study cords.

Plug and play. No problems with this cable. I received this in a bundle with a microphone. The deal was too good to be true but B&H offered it so I took it. No regrets.
