The Chrosziel AC-206-45S VariLock hdSLR Follow Focus is a mattebox follow focus designed specifically for DSLR cameras that shoot video, including the Canon 5D, Canon 7D, Nikon D90, and Panasonic GH1. The follow focus has a removable reverse gear drive system that can focus in the opposite direction. The VariLock feature helps achieve precise focus pulls, which are often difficult when using electronic servos. Equipped with a positionable indicator, the AC-206-45S is compatible with 15mm support rods.

- The Chrosziel hdSLR follow focus facilitates precise repeatable focus pulls. With virtually no backlash, the Chrosziel follow focus is designed to match your every move with precision.
- Focus Repeatability
- Autofocus or electronic focus control cameras limit repeatability for focus pulling. The ingenious and elegant design of the Chrosziel VariLock solves the limitations of an autofocus or electronic focus control camera. Equipped with a unique set of mechanical stops, the VariLock makes precise repeatability possible.
- Reversible Gear Drive
- Unlike a standard video or film lenses, select hdSLR lenses focus in the opposite direction. The unit has a built-in reverse gear drive that reverses the focus direction of a lens. Additionally, the reverse gear drive can be removed to be used with lenses that do not require the change.

- The unit comes standard with a 0.8 pitch gear drive.
