The Chrosziel AC-206-VDSLRK1 VariLock DSLR Follow Focus Kit is a mattebox follow focus designed specifically for DSLR cameras that shoot video, specifically the Canon 5D, Canon 7D, and Nikon D90. The kit comes equipped with the follow focus, as well as a flexible gear ring and gear drive. The VariLock feature helps achieve precise focus pulls, which are often difficult when using electronic servos. Equipped with a positionable indicator, the AC-206-VDSLRK1 comes with a lightweight support base with 15mm rods.

- The follow focus facilitates precise repeatable focus pulls. With virtually no backlash, the Chrosziel follow focus is designed to match your every move with precision.
- Focus Repeatability
- Autofocus or electronic focus control cameras limit repeatability for focus pulling. The ingenious and elegant design of the Chrosziel VariLock solves the limitations of an autofocus or electronic focus control camera. Equipped with a unique set of mechanical stops, the VariLock makes precise repeatability possible.
- Flexible Gear Ring
- The flexible gear ring can fit onto a variety of lens sizes, providing access to using the VariLock follow focus.
- DSLR 15mm Lightweight Support Base
- The DSLR lightweight 15mm rod support system fits on to the tripod head and provides and even distribution of weight from the camera to the lens / matte box (matte box not included). The support has been designed specifically to be used with the Canon 5D/7D and Nikon D90.
- Gear Pitch
- The unit comes standard with a 0.8 pitch gear drive.
- Single-Sided Operation
- The follow focus is accessible to the operator on one side of the camera.
