The Chrosziel C-206-VDSLRK2 DSLR Follow Focus Kit with Reversing Gear is a matte box / follow focus package designed specifically for DSLR cameras that shoot video, specifically the Canon 5D, Canon 7D, and Nikon D90. The kit comes equipped with the 206-45S Varilock DV follow focus with reversing gear, as well as a 206-30 flexible gear ring, and a 206-12 focus gear.

The reversible gear drive system can focus in the opposite direction, making it usable with an extensive array of still lenses. The reverse gear can be removed quickly and easily when not required. Additionally, with its positionable indicator, the system is compatible with 15mm support rods and comes with the 15mm lightweight support rods and a baseplate designed for the aforementioned cameras.

The follow focus facilitates precise repeatable focus pulls. With virtually no backlash, the Chrosziel follow focus is designed to match your every move with precision.
Focus Repeatability
Autofocus or electronic focus control cameras limit repeatability for focus pulling. The ingenious and elegant design of the Chrosziel VariLock solves the limitations of an autofocus or electronic focus control camera. Equipped with a unique set of mechanical stops, the VariLock makes precise repeatability possible.
Reversible Gear Drive
Unlike a standard video or film lenses, select DSLR lenses focus in the opposite direction. The unit has a built-in reverse gear drive that reverses the focus direction of a lens. Additionally, the reverse gear drive can be removed to be used with lenses that do not require the change.
Flexible Gear Ring
The flexible 206-30 gear ring can fit onto a variety of lens sizes, providing access to using the DSLR follow focus.
15mm Lightweight Support Base
The 401-421S lightweight support base with 15mm rod support system fits onto the tripod head and provides an even distribution of weight from the camera to the lens/mattebox. The support has been designed specifically to be used with Canon 5D/7D and Nikon D90 DSLR cameras, bringing these cameras to the proper vertical level.
Gear Pitch
The unit comes standard with a 0.8 pitch gear drive.
Single-Sided Operation
The follow focus is accessible to the operator on one side of the camera.
