I use my new remote everyday it works great its helps out a lot because before I had to work it from the ipod and kicker box but now I could change it from across the room. The omly thing I don't like is that you and go to menue for the kicker box to change the settings or change to Aux or if you can I have not got it yet but I like it..

The ipod dock by Kicker is the best one we've ever purchased or used. I accidentally washed the remote when it was left in the pocket of a pair of jeans, so it no longer worked. We went about a year before buying this replacement and I'm wondering why we waited so long! It works from a pretty far distance and is so convenient to have. Having a working remote for the Kicker is absolutely necessary.
