Pearstone 3-Pin XLR-M to Angled 3-Pin XLR-F Straight Audio Cable (20')
This Pearstone XLR Audio Cable is engineered to deliver broadcast studio quality audio with maximum protection against noise. The cable is ideal for Radio and TV broadcast, recording, and live sound applications where RFI and EMI protection is required. Rugged build and high pull strength make it an excellent choice in commercial applications as well.
The cable has an oxygen-free copper core and silver-plated contacts, plus a 98% braided copper shielding for clean signal transfer. The cable is 20' long and has a 3-pin Neutrik XLR male connector at one end and an angled 3-pin Neutrik XLR female connector at the other.

This is a quality XLR cable and it was nice to have the 90 degree angle for use with a boom and shock mount! Solid design and reliable on shoots.

There are times & places where you find yourself in need an angled XLR end in tight places where an extra 2"-4" of space is not available. In my case, a Pedal Train Pro FX board. We have two seperate EHX Voice Boxes that require the use of two XLR cables each. One IN from the MIC & one OUT out to the amp/mixer each one.
You also must use two 1/4" plugs for guitar/keyboard so the Voice Box can pick up the key (minor-major etc) to lock onto for vocal harmonies.
Back to the product:
The fully adjustable angled end with the Neutriks connector was perfect for freeing up valuable space on the board. Instead of the XLRs plugs shooting out horizontally with the common plugs, I now have the angled Pearstone plugs shooting vertically under the board. That action freed up 2 1/2" on each side of the FX pedal. Valuable real estate!
The only improvement of the Pearstone Angled Plug would be a small instructional note for the manual adjustment (optional) rotation preference of the Neutrik connector itself.
I rate this item at **** for now. It may rightly deserve a ***** in the near future though.

Works well I guess. Personally, I would have preferred the angled XLR on the male end and not the female end. Ended up locally buying a regular cable without the angled end.

Usually attached to a Sony EX3 for recording direct to camera. The 90 degree angle on it helps quite a bit for relieving some downward force on the end of a boom pole. The one issue I have with this cable is how stiff it tends to be while rolling back up. It tends to easily twist and tighten.
