The Delkin Snug-It Pro Skin (Black) provides complete protection for a Canon EOS 50D digital SLR camera. The heavy-duty skin is custom molded for a glove-like fit. The thick skin provides added protection, and ridges molded into the skin allow for a better grip. All controls are molded over and around to maintain all functions. The skin is perfectly molded around the lens mount to provide the maximum amount of coverage while still allowing for quick lens changes. It is made from powder-infused silicone that provides a smooth rather than tacky feel and won't collect lint or debris. There is a hard plastic cover that protects the LCD against damage.

Comments about Delkin Devices Snug-It Pro Skin:
I am out in the elements a lot when I shoot. This is a great product for general protection from said elements. However, I've not been able to get it to stop from bulging when I put my tripod mount on with it and using a Speedlite has the same results. The protection factor gets it 3 stars. The lack of its ability to remain snug once you've attached accessories demerits the other 2.

Comments about Delkin Devices Snug-It Pro Skin:
Very happy with this product, offers good impact protection for the canon 50D. All camera functions are still accessible, looks good, makes the camera slightly larger for easier holding, forms a loose rubber seal around the lens mount to add a little more dust/dirt protection. Comes with two types of screen protector. Downside is the camera is a little slippy the rubber is coated to prevent dust sticking to it thus making it a little slippy feeling, however I am used to it and has caused no issues. All the button have the same descriptions as on the camera, however they are harder to read in low light, not a problem if you know where all the buttons are anyway. I like to know that the camera is a little more protected as I am carrying it around.

This type of cover was new to me. I ordered it from the catalogue picture. I am very pleased with the design and usuability. All the controls are acessable and marked. I prefer this to the convential soft cover/case.

My only gripe, which I don't think could be changed, is that the labels for the buttons are hard to read in lower light. Everything works as it should, and the fit is tight, but not too tight.

Comments about Delkin Devices Snug-It Pro Skin:
I'm currnetly deployed in Iraq, and bought this skin to protect my camera body from the bumps and such. Everyone alway told me "don't buy it, dust will still get in there".....Well, between cleaning the camera body occasionally (like you're supposed to anyway) or having to replace it, yeah, I bought the skin. And I'm very glad i did. It goes with me on every mission, and i'll be buying the skins for my cameras at home as well. An added plus is that it comes with the pre sized protective screen sticke, and a plastic screen protector that goes with the skin itself. I don't use it much since the sticker is enough, but i probably will when back in the states. Buy it :)

Comments about Delkin Devices Snug-It Pro Skin:
I bought a Canon 50D as my main camera for shots in my recent trip to Haiti and wanted something to protect the body as I knew the conditions would be rugged. It was easy to put the cover over the camera and it protected it against casual scrapes. However no plastic cover for the lense was supplied as implied by the advertising image. And don't even think about using a pop up shade with it.

Comments about Delkin Devices Snug-It Pro Skin:
I found it difficult to grib the camera while the Snug-It Pro Skin was on the camera. It seemed to make it very slick and hard to grip. I think It would probably be ok to use every once in a while when the weather conditions are wet outside. Not something I would keep on my camera at all times.
