I use this card in my Sony DSLR A700 Digi-Cam. I use a Lexar Pro FireWire 800 UDMA Reader. This card is just BLAZING FAST!!! I have Sandisk Extreme IV and Lexar Professional UDMA CF (300X)Cards and this CF card Blows Them Away!!! I shoot in Raw and @ 5 Shots per second this card has ZERO LAG on all 15 Shots (Buffer Limit) and then it keeps on shooting at a slightly slower rate for 3-5 shots and BAM Another 15 shots fire off like a machine gun. Neither of the other 2 Brand Name Cards I use comes even close! Truly AMAZING... Then the upload speed to my PC is also noticeably faster as well. This Card ROCKS...

I use this card in my Olympus cameras (two E-620, one E-600, one E-5). I was pretty happy with it till the day I had the unfortunate idea to compare it with my lowly, cheap and unpretentious x233 16Gb card (won't make advertisement here, the name ends in "Data").
Surprise, surprise - the x400 Transcend card happened to be WAY SLOWER than the cheap x233 card. After several tests - average was 22 shots for a 10 seconds shooting burst, vs 32 shots with the x233 one.
Quick comparison with an old, old 4gb Sandisk laying around (advertising 15mb/s on the label) - 24 shots for a 10 seconds burst !
Quick call to Olympus tech support: yes, the camera can handle this card and I should see an improvement over the x233 card.
Quick call to Transcend tech support. "Your card is defective, we are sending you a new one". So far so good.
New card comes in the mail. Test. Same result. absolutely identical.
New call to tech support. Two weeks of instructions. Do this. Do that. Test it with this and this software.
Well, card tested. Verdict: no name x233 card writing speed: 13mb/s. Transcend x400 card: 12.6m/s. Read card is higher on the Transcend card by 16%.
"See, our card is faster !!! Case closed !!!"
Wait wait wait. Relaunch. I don't care about read speed. Box advertises 30mb/s in writing.
"Oh, yes, but it means "Up To" 30mb/s. And, results from a USB card reader are not conclusive. You need to test it on a sata card reader. Good day".
Well, ok. Sata reader purchased. Big laugh: the x233 card is still faster than the x400 :) What will we do, oh, gurus of computer wisdom ?
"Ah, ok. Your card is defective. We are sending you a new one. Put code 123422323232323232323221324" on RMA sheet.
The code helped. I received a card that managed to hit 22mb/s when tested. But wait - still slower than the x233 :-D
Test in camera: On an E-5, fresh out of the box, the Transcend x400 managed to do 1 (ONE, UNO, UN, EINZ) frame more than the old x233 on a 10 seconds burst.
Well, I guess that's a small victory. Long live Transcend. They managed to beat a x233 with a x400 one, by a hair. I guess that's as much as they can do.
Conclusion: Cheap and great x400 card for the price ? Try again. Mislabeled x233 card, IF it's not defective. Which you have 60% chances of getting, and will need 3 months with tech support to straighten up. Thanks but no thanks

Comments about Transcend 16GB 400X CompactFlash UDMA Card:
I have tried all types of brands when it comes to Compact Flash cards, and to date have yet to find any which can compare to the quality and value of Transcend.
I originally purchased a 16GB SanDisk Extreme Pro with my 5D MK II and was happy with the performance of the card-- but when this item went on sale, I figured it would be worth trying. Not only did the Transcend card fulfill my needs as a professional photographer, it did it at a fraction of the cost! I bought 2 more of these and a 32GB card immediately!

LOTTA research and I decided to give these guys a go!
So far it DOES what it is supposed to!
I haven't tested them(I got 2) extensively but I will update when I do.
Good bang for your buck!
One thing though, Don't be contrived into thinking you need UDMA and super fast write( speeds which these cards have)!!!! Read your camera specks.
Example; I chose these because they read write at 400x(which is bout 60 MB a second)My camera burst up to 53 MB a sec. Therefore; I DON'T need(currently) a card that is faster and more expensive!SO, see what you need vs don't need .

Ordered two of these for a wedding and they worked great. I shoot in RAW with an 18 and 21 megapixel camera, so I need a lot of memory. I am sure I will be ordering more of these in the future. They lasted me a good part of the wedding day before I had to change cards.

I have used this moving up from smaller compact flashes [4G & 2G] to take wedding photographs and ones for my college classes. Overall consensus, I couldn't be happier! Definitely well worth the buy.

bought for my Fuji S5 and used it on a wedding. Held the whole wedding on one card with room to spare. Shot in jpeg fine. This was the first time using it, so I'm not sure how it will hold up in the long term.

Don't know what else to say. I have a Canon 7D, 18MP, and I can continuously shoot 8FPS JPEG at full resolution - I sound like a mini machine gun. HD video is even less demanding, and it handles it fine.

Comments about Transcend 16GB 400X CompactFlash UDMA Card:
I have used this in my Canon EOS 1D MkII and 1Ds MkII cameras for almost a year now, and it has always performed admirably. I used to stick with smaller cards, since I didn't want to risk having an entire job on just one card, but that was when I was shooting with a pair of 40Ds. The 1D/1Ds MkII can accommodate and write simultaneously to both a CF and a SD card. This enables me to shoot all day to one large card and have the photos instantly backed up in-camera to a second card. I backup my Transcend 16GB CF card to a Transcend 16GB Class 10 SD card, which is also serving me well.
These cards currently represent the best combination of capacity, speed, reliability & price for my needs.

I tested the card out when I first bought it... took it to 8th grade promotion a few days later and in the middle of taking pictures, the card became corrupt.
While it worked, I was impressed with the speed... but I only got to use it once.
I would not buy Transcend again.
