The InFocus IN3114 Projector is, like all InFocus projectors, a true workhorse that's rated for a 24/7 duty cycle. Whether you have a house full of serious TV addicts or a commercial or industrial application that requires a projector with the utmost of durability, you should seriously consider the IN3114.
And seriously, there's a lot to consider. This projector will work just about anywhere in the world that has electricity thanks to its 100 to 240 V AC 50/60 Hz power supply. It also has a 17 language onscreen display (OSD) and Closed Captioning from sources that carry it.
Of course it can handle NTSC, PAL and SECAM video signals and it not only projects 720p, 1080i and 1080p high definition signals, it has an HDMI v 1.3 input so those signals will stay in pure digital form from your source (cable, satellite, Blu-ray disk) to the projector.
With 3500 ANSI lumens of brightness, a 2100:1 contrast ratio and Texas Instruments' DLP BrilliantColor and DarkChip technologies those signals will create images that are dazzling, vivid and stunning by the time they hit your eyeballs.
What's really cool is that those vibrant images will be coming from a projector that requires less work than many others. Thanks to its DLP imager there is no filter that you have to periodically clean and replace.
You can manage one IN3114 or a whole fleet of them from a central location because the projector is LAN and Internet ready. (You can also use its RS-232 jack.) Once you've connected the projector via its RJ45 (Ethernet) jack you can monitor and control it from its own HTTP page and you can even set it up to email you when faults like a bulb nearing the end of its life turn up.
Once you've connected your IN3114 to your LAN you reach a whole new level of convenience and versatility. InFocus includes a copy of its ProjectorNet 3.0 asset management software. It can save you time and money by scheduling on/off times and presetting maintenance events.
The Dynamic Messaging System allows you to broadcast messages like weather conditions and emergency notifications to your projector fleet.
If you want to make PC, Macintosh or Linux presentations wirelessly add the optional high-bandwidth LiteShow II 802.11b/g wireless adapter. It supports transmission of video and data content simultaneously with audio.
Wired or wireless (or both), at home, in the classroom, lecture hall or the boardroom the InFocus IN3114 can get the job done for you. 24/7.

Comments about InFocus IN3114 XGA 3500 ANSI Lumens Projector:
Great projectors for install or portable use.
They perform well and have a great warranty to boot.
The only issues I have is that three of mine recently developed groups of dead pixels all around the same time. Infocus replaced them all with brand new projectors so all is good.
Only other complaint is that it only has one rear adjustment foot. This means that you can't lower the projected image (which is rather high to start with) without cramming heaps of paper or whatever you can find under the back to lower the front.
If they had a vertical image shift, or more user friendly back feet, this would be the perfect projector.

We used our new projector for the first time this weekend and absolutely love it! It had a very bright picture even with all room lights left on! The controls are very easy to use and the options for inputs is endless! Highly recommend this projector!

Comments about InFocus IN3114 XGA 3500 ANSI Lumens Projector:
Mounted Infocus IN3114 projector in ceiling of 70' conference room with 150" Da-lite recessed screen. Projector is part of a PC based presentation system (via HDMI & SVGA) with AV receiver, ceiling mounted speakers, microphone system and universal remote control. System works great and I couldn't be happier with this projector for the sub $1,000 price!

Comments about InFocus IN3114 XGA 3500 ANSI Lumens Projector:
This projector will be used for small groups as well as large ones for mostly PowerPoint presentations. I like the size and weight of it, and it is easy to use. I had no trouble setting it up. My laptop will not work with it wirelessly, but it is easy to set up the "old fashioned" way. The display color intensity and hue are good, it gives you a clear image that is easy to read in a large room.

Comments about InFocus IN3114 XGA 3500 ANSI Lumens Projector:
This projector is used by local missionaries on furlough in the US as they travel around with their presentations. It has a great picture, very bright and lots of features. Color accuracy is excellent, and it has plenty of hook-ups! Not the greatest speakers, but it's nice to have the built-in sound in an emergency. Also, had to use a book to level the picture in some applications - not the greatest leveling features. Bonus was a free bulb by rebate which was great to have as a spare!

Comments about InFocus IN3114 XGA 3500 ANSI Lumens Projector:
Used for classroom presentations. Great image quality and bright in normal room conditions. However, the lens is very short and zoom range is limited. Screen must be about 9 feet away. I prefer 12-15 feet. Also, the DisplayLink feature does not support external speakers.
