Designed and engineered in Germany to work with the RED ONE and other HD cameras, Sachtler's Artemis EFP HD SE / Special Edition is a professional camera stabilizer that allows a high degree of flexibility and control during shooting. Capable of smooth and sustained Steadicam-like moves, the artemis system uses a 15-amp high-capacity camera power supply and Hot Swap technology to work easily with the RED ONE's voltage requirements and wiring scheme. This means minimal voltage drops and maximum run times as compared to other stabilizers, plus the ability to handle as much as 14 volts 15 amps at 210 watts without breaking a sweat.
The system's modular design brings even more power benefit to your rig in the form of "dual dynamic balance"; a patented system that allows the mounting of two batteries in any of four independently adjustable positions. This adds not only power but balance, since you can arrange the batteries to produce the perfect counterweight. And, Anton Bauer's Hot Swap technology means you can change the batteries at any time without shutting off the camera or causing damage thus preserving valuable shooting time.
- In addition to the standard 3-pin camera power-out, 3-pin Aux power, and 4-pin focus power-out sockets, there is an extra camera power-out that uses the same Lemo 2B 6-pin socket and wiring scheme as the RED ONE.
- Battery capacity data is displayed in the eyepiece of the RED ONE when a RED Brick or other battery that supports capacity data is used.
- Due to the modularity of the artemis EFP HD SE, the use of the 5' 3" super post with an HD camera stabilizer system is no longer a problem, allowing unusual perspectives to be achieved.
- The new system supports HD-SDI video processing up to 4.5 GHz, the only stabilizing system on the market to offer such versatility. The HQ HD-SDI video line allows the use of the award-winning Transvideo CineMonitor HD 6" SBL (sold separately). With a built-in waveform monitor, a digital bubble, and free adjustable frame-lines, the operator has maximum control.
