You really need to KNOW how to work with these kind of blotter books.
My problem was just starting out with my college photography class. Teacher told me that you put a wet print in and transport it whenever you need, but don't keep it in there for a long time.
I used this book for the first time, put my newly printed photographs and went to another class. Transporting time - about 10 minutes. That time was enough for my prints to stick to the blotter paper. Needless to say, those were ruined prints.
Of course, I learn on my mistakes, now I know how to prevent this problem.
Squeegee your photos to remove excess water, put face down on light almost see-through blotter paper, close the book, press so the excess moisture is absorbed, open book, turn the print so it faces carton, NOT blotter sheet of paper, and you're done.
Anyways, be careful and have fun!

For those that develop there prints in a lab at school and want to take prints with you and don't want to wait for them to dry this the best item to get. Downside is being able to find this product on the website. Other than that great item.

After searching many other websites, photo and art supply stores, I finally found the product I needed with B&H. Their blotter book was inexpensive[...], was the right size I needed[...]

I do not like this thing. I let my prints dry as best I can before putting them in here and still I get fuzzy junk stuck to my images. So next time I go to class I have to dunk them in water to pull all the fuzzy stuff off and yet again my image is wet.

I was really surprised to find that my blotter book is great EXCEPT the fact that one spot, the same spot, on all of my pictures is sticking to the blotter pages.

Great for short term storage when you have to move damp photos. Make sure that there are not any drops of water on the photo before putting it in the blotter book otherwise ti will ruin your photo.

I'm in a first-level photography class, and my prints don't always have time to dry during the 2.5 hour class, so this is great for helping them along. :)

I found some old snapshots that I wanted to flatten, so I soaked them and put them in this blotter book. The directions warn that the waxy paper may not be "compatible" with certain glossy finishes. Well, they're right. No real damage, but I will need to resoak the prints to get off the bits of paper that stuck to them. Next time I'm drying them glossy side against the paper itself -- shouldn't be a problem.

I had never heard nor seen a photo drying book. But I recently started printing on fiber base paper at home, and I do not have any drying equipment.
With this drying book, I can print a dozen prints, put them in the book, and stack some books on top. The next day, the prints are dry and fairly flat (despite FB paper's tendency to curl).

This product is great to carry wet pictures to a different location. I am a photography student and want to bring my pictures home when class is over. This book is great to let the pictures finish drying and safe.

Keeps the prints from curling, as happens with most FB papers. Also dries prints more quickly and keeps them safe (free from dirt, etc). Works well. Simple product that works well and does not cost a lot.

I friend told me about that drying book, and I got one immediately. It saves a lot of time, because you don't have to wait for your prints to dry, but actually you can take them wet. It works great if you press the drying book under other textbooks at home. Usually I have my wet prints at night and I bring them home, and press the drying book with a few textbooks. By next morning the prints are dry. They are not perfectly flat, the textbooks' pressure helps to flatten them decently, however you might still want to go through the mounting (hot) press.
