The LCD Hood Kit from HP attaches to your monitor and shields it from ambient light. By reducing the glare from windows, overhead lights, and other light sources, your monitor will provide significantly more accurate color and contrast. The hood is easy to attach, and is compatible with a variety of HP monitors.

this is a very well designed and well made hood. everything fits perfectly on my hp lcd 2475 and it is very effective at cutting glare from ambient lighting sources. the only reason for the four stars rather than five is the price which i find a little high for something largely made of plastic.
