The FreeAgent Theater+ HD Media Player from Seagate is a set-top digital media player, designed for use with the portable hard drives by Seagate. Capable of playing digital video, music, and pictures on your TV, the device fully supports 1080p HD output and Dolby Digital 5.1 sound.
You'll be able to dock the included 500GB FreeAgent Go hard drive in the unit, or connect an external hard drive, flash drive, or digital camera via either of the integrated USB 2.0 ports. The dock will also accept Seagate BlackArmor PS 110 portable drives.
The integrated Ethernet port allows you to connect the device to your home network to stream media from your computer or from popular web sites. An optional Wi-Fi adapter is available. The included remote control makes it easy to browse your media from the comfort of your favorite armchair.

Lots of great new features. Things I don't like are when you shut it off, the unit stays warm like its still on internally (maybe it is?), and that i like to catagorize my movies and tv shows (eg. action, drama, dexter, spatacus, etc.)instead of having them all listed alphabetically. (I know you can go to c drive and select from there as if you have on a computer.)

This unit is easy to set up and use. But it has some issues with the options on it. I had a unit that kept all my movies organized in the folders I had created, for example all my animated movies were in one location. This unit does not do that. All the movies are just scattered about and it is unable to be set up to keep this organized. Also the text is extremely small and hard to read. I would not buy this again and am in search of something to replace it already. I have only had it one month.
