Now when you don't want to take your ET out your hand warmers, a trigger like this makes a thug step into the future. Play, pause, next track and previous track all with one button! But you have to learn the 3rd party morse code to solve the temple riddle. Once you do, you'll see that the cable is as skinny as Wiz Khalifa. It was inexpensive, nah mean, but so is a Subway sandwich. It's about half of what you want. Still the music tastes sweet as long as you remember the code for fast forward when that Nicki Minaj/Taylor Swift duet inevitably makes it on your Mother-boy playlist.

The remote works fine, but the wires don't hold up to daily use. The remote didn't last 2 weeks when used in an office setting (i.e., not a rough environment) before the plug-end got a short that lost all volume in one side and most in the other. Wiggling the cord at the jack would bring back the stereo sound, but as soon as I let go it was gone. Good luck.

I've had a few pair of ear buds w/a volume control and I get a couple months w/every day use out of them.I end up throwing out a good pair of buds because the volume does'nt work.I also have to give up quality sound,shape and fit just to have that volume control because most ear buds I like don't have the control switch.This is my first time w/any kind of remote adapter.It feels well built and if I get two months out of them I'll be happy.I can keep my buds and throw out the control switch and at this price,it's a win,win.

I bought this in hopes it would work with my new iPod shuffle. I have Bose earbuds that I wanted to use with it, instead of the cheap ones included with the shuffle, and this allows me to do that, and still have the shuffle functionality.
