Makaw VideoPerch Camera Mount
The VideoPerch by Makaw is a camera mounting system that attaches to just about any solid surface up to 1.5" thick. Leave your heavy, expensive tripod behind and use this unique arm mount to set up your still camera or camcorder on a tree, a car window, a golf bag, or even the back of a chair. Take photos and video of yourself, or place your camera in hard-to-reach areas and shoot remotely. I am very impressed with the built quality. It is every sturdy but design wise has a bit of a flaw. The Flaw is mainly at the ball socket cylinder. The Lock screw knob is not turntable if you have to mount the cylinder where the 90* slit of the cylinder is also 90* to the arm. I am more confused on that than you do! :p Long story short. It has DESIGN FLAWS.

Used for mounting video camera in industrial plant to video process equipment for training and lean engineering. Device allows mounting to structural members in places where there is no room for tripod. Locking pin on the quick release plate keeps everything secure.

I have been into making short movies. I was looking for a mount which i could use to mount a camera to my car and motorcycle. This was the best choice I had. And I recommend it to all those who are keen in shooting stable moving scenes. Its perfectly stable and the footage i took is without any jerks... Just dont think, go for it.....
