A little noisy, but a fast printer (ca. 3 times faster than the one it replaced). Feels flimsy in places (but not enough to be a deal breaker), even though it is heavy to lift (use a sturdy stand). Fine color processing (not as much nuance as a photo printer, but we knew that going in). Network setup was a breeze (Mac Snow Leopard). Download the manual to see how to tell the printer to continue printing when toner is getting low (a must, if you want to use some of the remaining 6% in the cartridge). No USB cable (but we weren't expecting one). Like most contemporary printers, we only got what feel like "starter" (less than full) toner cartridges. We haven't put any envelopes through yet, so no word on feeding those. End user did report that duplex options needed to be tweaked via software. Note: It's a little early in the duty cycle to speak about true robustness, but it is performing daily with no hiccups so far.

The printer is great for the price I paid, especially compared to other retailers including [...] who were selling it for $100 more. It is a tad noisy at times when the printer starts to calibrate. However, it doesn't last long and isn't as bad as some people make it out to seem. The one thing I do not like is the second tray is supposed to be able to print photos. IT DOESN'T WORK!!! The photo paper jams constantly when attempting to use tray 2. I talked to HP tech support and they kept telling me to use tray one and wouldn't even go into detail about using tray 2. They kept dodging my question and said to simply use tray 1. I don't plan on doing photos anyways as [...] is cheaper and better so it really isn't a big deal. The printer makes good color copies of documents and brochures. As previously stated I wouldn't use it for photos. I'm using this with a mac pro desktop computer and OSX 10.6.2 and it works flawlessly. No driver issues at all!!!The printer DOES NOT COME WITH A USB CABLE which is another thing that really ticked me off. While I have plenty laying around its the principle of the matter. A USB cable costs under $5 HP could surely include one. Its almost like not including the power cable as you need one for the printer to work!!!Those are my complaints, but I am happy with the printer especially since I paid [$]. I was looking into the newer model but I refuse to pay $898.00 for this years color laser printer when it will probably cost half that towards the end of 2010!Oh yeah, the ink. The ink will cost roughly $400 to replace, which is the price of the printer. I simply plan on putting that money towards the 2010 version of this printer. I figure by the time I run out of starter ink the newer version will have dropped in price and I will probably get it for almost the cost of the ink of my current printer.

Very nice color, networked, duplex printer for a great price from HP. I would recommend it in a flash and B&H is a great and dependable company to purchase from. The starter toner that comes with the system only lasts about 200 prints so make sure you have new toners ready.

Returned an HP 8200 Inkjet and bought this instead. Love it. Great machine - quiet and works well. Tech support on network install was simply outstanding. It blew me away how long and how much they helped me in setting up all computers on my network with appropriate software and connections.

I dumped my Epson inkjet printer (otherwise known as an ink disposal unit) to get something that was more reliable. It's such a relief to have something in your office that is well made, actually does its job, and turns out a beautiful printed product.
Envelopes are printed up beautifully, and come out of the machine reliably.

The printer installed easily and was on-line an a matter of minutes. Windows 7 drivers were available and so no other action was necessary. Although we haven't had the opportunity to use some of the functions of the printer, printing speed is very comparable to the old HP 4100. Thanks for a great product.

We've only had this a few days, but so far it is fantastic! Goes through toner fast, but so does every other color printer I have seen.
Super easy to have it print duplex (automatically!), and is smaller in size than expected!
Only disappointment is that you cannot print any documents that are larger in width than 8.5". So you can do Legal sized and letter sized, but nothing else (even from the manual paper feeder). I don't know why so many printers limit you in this way!
Overall, though, we are very happy with it. Our office has named our new HP Printer Evelyn. :-)

This was a plug it in, connect ethernet cable, open settings panel on Mac OSX, select printer, start printing.
The printer is completely silent when it goes into sleep mode.
The toner cartridges and remaining toner quantity for each cartridge is easy to find and see.
Superb prints on a wide variety of paper stock.
Overall an excellent product.

As a former HP Laserjet 2500L which lasted 8 solid years, this printer seems the most comparable in their line up. It has the same resolution, but also does double sided printing and is much much faster.

Comments about HP / Hewlett Packard (CB495A) Color LaserJet CP2025dn Printer:
I replaced a "tired" HP 2550 printer with the CP2025dn. The printing quality is brighter, sharper, quieter and faster. The paper feed tray & print-both-sides feature is especially useful in printing book quality files. Like the 2550, the only minus is it's weight, which is to be expected with a quality color laser printer. No replacement imaging drum needed for this unit.
