If you're looking for a 32" HDTV but you want true 1080p resolution the Sony KDL-32EX500 32" 1080p LCD TV is the set for you. The native HD resolution of most 32" sets is 720p. Sure they can downconvert 1080i to 720p but like the old song says, "ain't nothin' like the real thing, baby."

- The 32EX500 can display all four conventional closed captioning channels (CC1, CC2, CC3 and CC4) and all four text channels from analog programming that provides them. And it can also display all of the new digital closed captions when present (CC 1-4 and Service 1-6). Digital CC allows you to customize eight features that range from character size and color to background translucency.
