This is my first HDTV and although my old tv (an 11 year old JVC 32"!!) was still working, I made the jump, especially since BH had a GREAT price [...], even though I opted for the white glove. I also did not want a tv that does everything like 3D or internet, and LCD was a good choice. The picture is clear and crisp and the hookup was extremely easy, but to be honest, I only have the cable box hooked up with it! I have read some reviews about the sound but I have no complaints, the sound from the set is good for me. I had to mess a little with the color since it originally set up a with a little too much but the menu is easy to navigate and set up. I am a Sony fan and this did not disappoint. If you are looking for an HDTV without a whole lot of extra stuff, this is the set for you. Great product!

worked great right out of the box - simple set up. One thing I appreciated but maybe others won;t is that it comes with the stand NOT attached to the unit. I liked that because we are hanging it on a wall and it saved me the time to dettach it from the TV - but if you were planning on taking it out and putting it on a table somewhere you would have to attach the stand. Other than that - I like it!

I am a big television watcher. If I am home, the tv is on. The picture is absolutely gorgeous and I love the swivel stand that is included. The sound could be a little better, but that could be the way I have it hooked up to my speakers. Couldn't find a better tv.
