Reliable. Fast enough.
I have been using this product for a month. No signal drop so far. It works as "g" speed router, not "n". But if you change its setting to "150Mbps mode", the transmission speed becomes considerably faster (although signal indicator on your computer still shows as "54Mbps"). In my environment, to playback AVCHD files on the network attached hard drive (Buffalo) is slightly tough. SD quality videos are totally OK. To change security setting, speed setting, MAC filtering, etc. is very easy. Also the body is small, slender and light weight. I recommend this product to everyone who wants to have fast router at reasonable price.

Comments about Buffalo N-Technology Wireless-N 150 High Power Router and Access Point:
-wireless n
-dd-wrt compatible
-removable antenna
i am using it as a client bridge between my house and a neighbors 6 houses down and across the street. it connects to a tp-link n router (access point) and both units have a super cantenna attached. i was using an asus n router as a repeater bridge, but the antenna was not removable and the connection was unreliable in precipitation. now it is reliable and speeds are up as well. large file transfers via windows file sharing average 17 mbps. there are many wireless access points in the neighborhood between the two houses, which probably is the biggest reason i cannot achieve higher speeds. all in all, the set of features i listed at the top make this router incredibly flexible for numerous applications. and it does it at a price that is quite competitive with any wireless n router.

Comments about Buffalo N-Technology Wireless-N 150 High Power Router and Access Point:
We're an Internet Service Provider and regularly sell routers to our customers. I don't have time for junk that doesn't work (can you say "Belkin") and these routers have been very solid for us. They come with the Linux-based DD-WRT firmware that has a reputation for reliability, and they are pre-configured with the SSID and an encryption key which saves our installers time. It will save yours too. There is a label with this information conveniently located on the bottom of the router, in case you forget the key.

Comments about Buffalo N-Technology Wireless-N 150 High Power Router and Access Point:
This little router works like a router should work. Configure it and forget about it.
I first bought a Netgear 150N for secondary router. The first configuration screen claimed it must be connected directly to a modem. I thought surely not, not! It didn't work. Order this one online and returned the Netgear. And the Buffalo was cheaper, looks better, and best of all works better. It currently supports 9 nodes, both wired and wireless. Have had it for a couple of weeks now with no problems. It was easy to configure and has decent range.

Manual is only on cd and to long to economically print-out. The setup is not easy for a novice bu is fully documented. The technical services group more than off-set the non-novice written manual. Those people are GREAT!!

Comments about Buffalo N-Technology Wireless-N 150 High Power Router and Access Point:
This is the second Buffalo router I purchased. And it is a very good product for its value. It's relatively easy to install and I like it's modern looks. The wireless connection shows the strong signal most times and the range is sufficient for my home. I have my base computer in the basement, and the laptop I use mostly in my bedroom on the second floor. There is no problem to connect to this wireless. I would recommend for this product.
