The RS 160 wireless headphones from Sennheiser allow you to enjoy full uncompressed CD-quality audio without the hassles of wires. The system includes a pair of around-ear headphones and a compact transmitter that lets you enjoy your audio. The transmitter connects to your CD player, computer, home theater, or other audio devices. It uses KLEER wireless technology to send uncompressed digital audio up to 60' to the headphones. KLEER technology provides automatic, interference-free pairing between the transmitter and the headphones, so there's no need for tuning. The transmitter can operate on batteries or AC power for terrific versatility.
The included headphones are designed to provide top-quality audio and long-lasting comfort. The transducers use neodymium magnets to provide clear, detailed audio with a wide frequency response. The adjustable headband and around-ear leatherette cushions provide a secure and comfortable fit. The cushions, along with the closed-back design, help to block out unwanted ambient noise so you can focus on your music. The headphones also have a digital volume control with a mute function for convenient control.
Note! Transmitter supports up to 4 sets of headphones. Additional headphones sold separately.

I have used those headset a few days but, unfortunately, I'm returning them. They're well built and the sound quality is good but the tip of my, apparently large, ears seem to slightly touch the grill inside the cups and it starts hurting after a couple of hours. Also, I was slightly disappointed to realize that for the added bulk, the sound wasn't all that much better than my older entry-level Bose headphones.

These are amazing the only reason I have a hard time giving this 5 stars is the instuctions and interface to sync the headsets is a little vague. Sound quality is great, in two weeks of use I've not noticed any sound cutout unless I'm a floor away from the basestation.

My husband loves to watch TV in bed and I often would rather read, so these headphones are great! I don't hear the dialogue and he gets to watch his favorite shows before we turn out the lights.

Comments about Sennheiser RS 160 Digital Wireless Headphones with Transmitter:
These are the first pair of wireless headphones that I've owned that have a good bass response. The range is a bit limited, especially with obstacles such as flooring or doors between the transmitter and receiver. I love the volume control on the headphones and the battery life - I haven't burned out the batteries yet after using them for several hours at a time and they charge very quickly. They are very light and fit snugly without irritating my ears. I've had them fall of tables and accidentally dropped them and they still work as good as the first day that I got them.
They're great for music studio purposes, too. For those guitarists and drummers that hate wearing headphones, give these a shot. I'm now selling all but the very best of my wired headphones after using these.

Use the RS-160 for TV watching. I've had many different Headsets in the past. Unlike the others, these were very clear, and fit over the ear without rubbing on the ear with the inside part of the Headset.
I'm enjoying using a headset with the TV for the first time.

Comments about Sennheiser RS 160 Digital Wireless Headphones with Transmitter:
This was a purchase for my 86 year old mother who has recently moved into a first rate assisted living residence. Mom's upstairs neighbor had complained at Mom's TV volume levels, so I got involved looking for headphones. I finally settled on the RS 160 after a lot of research online with reduced hearing sites. Mom has been ecstatic over the product. Not only has the volume issue gone away but an even larger benefit has been realized. Mom is a CNN junkie, and the excellent tonal quality now allows her to understand all the words, something she's not been able to do for a while. One small note, the product picture made it seem like there is a stand for the headphones. There is not. The small circle pictured under the headphones is the control panel.

Connected to my iMac (or my iPhone or iPad), I can roam my home and still hear my music or podcasts. As soon as I buy a converter plug (small to large) I'll use it on my Sony TV to give my wife some relief from my poker shows' constant chip chatter.

Headphones connected to my computer.
The Kleer wireless technology is great. I've used other wireless headphones and this feature creates static free sound.
Batteries recharge very quickly and setup is easy.

Comments about Sennheiser RS 160 Digital Wireless Headphones with Transmitter:
These are by far the best wireless headphones I've heard.
I compare the sound quality to that of hard-wired noise-cancelling headphones.
This is my third pair of RF headphones and final set.
I use the headphones with my big screen tv to listen without disturbing anyone else late at night.
My favorite feature besides the incredible sound quality is the ability to add a second, third or fourth pair of headphones. The moment my wife listened to these she asked for a set for her.
Being rechargeable is also a great plus, I only wish the set would include an RCA to 3.5mm jack adapter for those devices that do not have a headphone jacks like big screen TVs.

I use the RS160 for the freedom it allows, just as much as the high sound quality it provides.

Comments about Sennheiser RS 160 Digital Wireless Headphones with Transmitter:
The headphones are good. The sound is clear, bass is enhanced by the headphones (compared to Senn HD 545).I like the fact that they are highly portable. Its sound is not perfect, but the best wireless I had tested. The disadvantage are: 1) you can't use them while they are charging; 2) the range is not that far when there are walls in between (1 wall+1 fridge enough to stop the signal); 3) they hurt my ears after listening to them for more than 1 or 2 hrs.Would I buy them again? I think I would go for the 170. They use the same technology, which I think is great. I also think the base is worth it as makes it easy to plug for recharging, and, as far as I know, the earpads are bigger. The main reason to buy these headphones are two:1) Less expensive; 2) very portable.

I have been using these for a couple of months now and have no complaints. Sound quality is very clear and well balanced with good bass. They are very comfortable; I have worn them for hours without any problems. Battery life is way better than I expected - I can listen for days without a recharge. An overall excellent product. Would definitely recommend to a friend.

If you live in an apartment and want to enjoy TV sounds late at night, or if you have a LOUD window AC that's right behind the couch... this little gadget will save your day. The sound is clear, muffs the surrounding noise, and overall pretty comfy headphone. I do think the RS 180's transmitter / headphone holder looks cleaner and will keep your countertop a bit more clear, but for the price difference, we'll live w/ a little bit of a mess.

The Sennheiser RS 160 headphones do not fit well and do not block out ambient noise in the room. The sound is too low. even with the adjustment, and the headphones get heavy and hot after awhile. There is nothing good about these headphones, just negatives. Should cost about[$]
