The Mini/Max 10.5 x 7.5" FBC Bounce Card from the Aurora Lite Bank Co. is designed to increase the quality of the light from your shoe mounted flash unit. The FBC (Fan Bounce Card) is a fan shaped reflective surface onto which you aim your flash to lessen the harsh effects often found with direct lighting. By bouncing your flash into the FBC you will obtain diffused light and soft shadows. This is particularly useful when photographing large groups of people. The FBC is supplied with a lock & loop strap which is used for mounting the unit to your flash and folds in half for convenient storage.

This is a good bounce card that has a large surface area that makes good use of the light from the flash. The velcro strap is built into the product so you do not have to buy additional velcro strap. Also goes on to where you can go from horizontal to vertical shooting with just one flip of the flash. Quick and easy to use. The only con is that it was a little warped, when I got it. You do not really notice it when in use, however obvious when it is folded for storage. As good as any competors product for at least half the price and do not have to buy additional cinch strap to go with it.

I use this for my reception lighting - on a single flash on self-collapsing stands.
The card doesnt actually bend, so if you want to tilt the angle of bounce, you need to change the angle of the flash-head itself. Folds in half along its length for transport.
Secures tightly and doesnt come off. A step up from the velcro and white cardboard I was using.
Big enough size to throw enough light forward and enough upward.

Comments about Aurora Mini/Max 10.5 x 7.5" FBC Bounce Card:
Took Photos of a lovely young couple and tried this bounce card. I put it on my SB800, utilized my new Mini Pocket Wizards and shot off camera. The pictures were softly lighted and some pictures looked like they were in 3D. We were on railroad tracks and it looked amazingly cool. Its a cheap inexpensive tool that is definitely worth a try.

Comments about Aurora Mini/Max 10.5 x 7.5" FBC Bounce Card:
It works nice with the fill flash as a bounce but I like the smaller one better, it is more durable and easier to use than this one.

Comments about Aurora Mini/Max 10.5 x 7.5" FBC Bounce Card:
Easy to use. Consistent fill light for large group portraits. This is a very large bounce card (almost the size of a 8.5x11 piece of paper). Having flash on a bracket it helpful as it doesn't otherwise flip well for portrait orientation. This card works great and projects a wide soft white fill light. I would recommend this product.

This unit works great with the omnibounce supplied with my sb900. It helps direct more light towards the front, eliminating wasted light.

Adds great amount of softer light to the subject. Much better than direct flash, directs more light than an omni-bounce, and work great when you're unable to set up an umbrella or other modifier.

Comments about Aurora Mini/Max 10.5 x 7.5" FBC Bounce Card:
I bought this on a whim and gave it a shot at a wedding reception, as an alternative to the mini soft box I usually put on my flash, and it worked so well, I never went back to the soft box the whole day. very good deal for the money and feels like it will last a while. made my day easier, so that's a good product!

Comments about Aurora Mini/Max 10.5 x 7.5" FBC Bounce Card:
The rubberized Velcro strap stays put, nicely designed. The card could be a bit stiffer, but that does not effect performance, light is soft and well balanced.
