The Delkin Snug-It Pro Skin (Black) provides complete protection for a Canon EOS Rebel XSi (450DD) or EOS Rebel T1i (500D) digital SLR camera. The heavy-duty skin is custom molded for a glove-like fit. The thick skin provides added protection, and ridges molded into the skin allow for a better grip. All controls are molded over and around to maintain all functions. The skin is perfectly molded around the lens mount to provide the maximum amount of coverage while still allowing for quick lens changes. It is made from powder-infused silicone that provides a smooth rather than tacky feel and won't collect lint or debris. There is a hard plastic cover that protects the LCD against damage.

I carry my T1i around quite a bit, and I cannot have it hanging from my neck all the time, since the screen will hit the shirt buttons and get scratched.
So before I bought this product, I had to hold the camera in my hand to avoid accidental bruising.
The Delkin skin provides protection from just that. It fits very well (after some pushes and pulls). The command buttons are about as clickable as without the protective sheath, and they are marked just as on the camera body. There is a piece of protective film provided for the screen, and an additional transparent plastic cover for it that is fitted into the silicone sheath. The only con I should mention is that the USB and HDMI outlets are not that easily accessible: there is just a slit for them in the silicone skin, and it needs to be pried open for those to be accessed under their dedicated cover on the camera body. The problem is easily fixable by cutting off parts of the silicone to expand the slit. Overall, a very good product.

Comments about Delkin Devices Snug-It Pro Skin:
I really wish I would have purchased this when I bought the camera, it would have saved it from some wear and tear. Since I carry my camera every day there are spots that are worn. The Snug-It is great to add extra protection against dings, scratched and wear spots. It is a little difficult sometimes to change lenses and to move one of the wheels on the camera. It's also difficult to read what the buttons/controls are on the black rubber so if you don't know what's what on your camera you should learn!

The Delkin Snug-It Pro Skin was very easily placed on the camera and now I have peace of mind that nothing will happen to my camera while I am using it or when it is in my bag. I can put it in any bag or backpack if I don't want to take my camera bag and know that it is protected.

The overall concept it right on. I would like for it to be a little tighter in some spots but overall a pretty neat cover for the camera. It protects the camera in a bag and at your hip.

Comments about Delkin Devices Snug-It Pro Skin:
The case fits very snug..allowing access to all buttons. My only gripe is with the plastic piece that covers the LCD Screen. There really isn't anything holding it in place, I imagine it's only a matter of time till it falls off. The case came with a screen protector..which should be more than adequate to protect the LCD screen. I feel much more comfortable carrying around my camera without the bag...not having to worry about my shirt/zipper scracthing the screen...or where/how I set down the camera. Obviously, this case won't save the camera if it were dropped...but it does do a great job with the minor wear and tear of everyday use. Great Product!

I use it when sailing, doing sports work etc, Fits snugly to camera and provides very good protection. Easy to install on and off camera so that you don't have to leave it on all the time. If you are not going to leave it on, get the detachable Canon neck strap. Control buttons easy to use. Rubber is not the sticky kind. It feels a little slippery at first(you adopt to it) but I prefer that than having the gummy feeling of other makes. Reasonable price to protect your investment.

Comments about Delkin Devices Snug-It Pro Skin:
The skin fits my Canon Rebel XSi perfectly. It's easy to operate all the controls despite rubber covering all the buttons. Labels (black on black) are not easy to read, so you need to know your camera pretty well. Skin provides an extra layer of protection when you're carrying it on a strap. The only part that's somewhat flimsy is the hard plastic LCD cover. It hasn't popped out yet, but doesn't seem to be held in too securely.
I like the texture of the cover and it doesn't attract dust and dirt like some others.

This attaches to the body of the camera, not the lens. No instructions included and none needed for the rubber case; however, some would be nice for the LCD protector.

Comments about Delkin Devices Snug-It Pro Skin:
I love my camera but more people that see my camera are more interested in the "rubber cover" on it. They always ask where I got it and then I tell them and look their camera up and send them a link. It is more functional than I thought it would be. All of the buttons on my camera are still easily used and marked on the Pro Skin and any knobs or rotations are easily accessible. I thought if I made this investment in a camera, I should make one in protecting it. It should come standard on all SLR's.

The Snug-It fits great, works great. There are no difficulties pressing the buttons or working with the Sung-It. My only complaint, the plastic LCD screen protector had an instructions-sticker on it, which left quite a mark upon removal. Also the piece sometimes moves between the camera and the Sung-It.
Otherwise I'm quite happy!

Comments about Delkin Devices Snug-It Pro Skin:
Easy to install, once you figure out the order in which to stuff the parts of the camera in. A diagram or 1-page instructions would have been handy. It provides a lot of peace of mind against minor bumps and dings, especially for the display. The door to the remote trigger release and transfer/AV connectors is a bit difficult to open, and some controls are a little less responsive when it's installed. This was actually an advantage for my big hands as I do not accidentally bump controls as much. The legending is not as easy to read as the legends on the camera itself so you'll want to get familiar with the controls so you don't need to try and read them.

I was looking for a LCD protector to buy and found this. I'm delighted with my purchase...you get the protection for the LCD with the added bonus of protecting the camera. The instructions are non-existent but it was fairly simple to figure out. Once on, it is awesome. You just have to be a little careful when changing lenses but you get the hang of it pretty quick. Also the labels on the buttons are not easily read in the dark but once you know which button is which (the XSi is different than my old XT), it's easy to use. I'd buy one of these again.
