The Delkin Snug-It Pro Skin (Black) provides complete protection for a Canon EOS 7D digital SLR camera. The heavy-duty skin is custom molded for a glove-like fit. The thick skin provides added protection, and ridges molded into the skin allow for a better grip. All controls are molded over and around to maintain all functions. The skin is perfectly molded around the lens mount to provide the maximum amount of coverage while still allowing for quick lens changes. It is made from powder-infused silicone that provides a smooth rather than tacky feel and won't collect lint or debris. There is a hard plastic cover that protects the LCD against damage.

I purchased this to give added protection to my new 7D. It fits perfectly and is marked for easy access to all buttons and controllers on the camera. It has a nice non-slip feel to it.
The only issue I ran into is that it doesn't fit with the battery grip. I had to trim the bottom of the skin so it would connect completely to the camera body. It would be great if a skin were made for the battery grip as well.

Love the soft non-tacky feel of the powder infused silicon. Needed trimming for the battery grip attachment and around the lense bezel. Also, didn't have openings for remote sensor, LCD light sensor or 7D badge. Very protective. Just need a Snug-It for the battery grip.

Comments about Delkin Devices Snug-It Pro Skin:
I was fortunate enough to make that once a lifetime once a year whatever to make it to the store. I had the chance to try this on to my 7D body before I bought it.
Pros:
-It fits very well
-Does add padding makes you feel safer
-Seals the lens to the body: there is a little lip that helps create a nice weather seal between the one major area something may leak.
By no means does this make the camera water proof, but it makes it a little more protected.
-Comes with a nice screen film and a hard plastic protector like the Nikon camera bodys have.
Cons:
From my friends I have heard they don't like the rubber's feel. I'm okay with it.
There is a little more bulk added to the body since you are adding a whole layer to it. Again this is a personal preference thing.
The tripod plates in some situations do not play well with the bottom rubber.
Overall:
I like this case a lot it has been what I have been looking for a while and didn't know this to exist for my 7D until now. This makes me feel a bit better about my camera being much more protected.

Comments about Delkin Devices Snug-It Pro Skin:
I bought this product despite several reviews stating that once applied, it was difficult to remember what camera buttons did what.
I must have received a newer version, as the cover I received has each button labeled just as the camera does. It appears exactly as the camera does.
The only bad thing I have to say about this product, is that on initial application, the surface of the skin was kind of slippery. I used a paper towel with some windex to wipe it down, and that seemed to remove whatever dust might have been on it.
I would say this is a great product, although I haven't yet tested it's durability by dropping the camera or getting it wet.

Comments about Delkin Devices Snug-It Pro Skin:
The product works great and gives a nice grip. All buttons on the camera are also marked on the skin and can be used without any problems.
The protective cover for the LCD seems a bit annoying though because you have to slip it into the rubber but it only has a narrow edge so if you use the camera for a longer period and move it around the cover starts coming out of the groove. I already can see that I will probably will stop using the cover and just the skin itself. Good thing is though that the product also includes another protective film (just like an iPhone screen cover) which fits nicely and protects the LCD anyways.

It's perfect for hiking, climbing and just for added protection. I'm extremely happy with it. It kind of gets in the way when I put my tamer on lens on but only takes a few seconds more to snap on the lens so it's really not bad.

I can't decide what I think about this wrap. Its a bit looser than I would have expected, and its kind of slippery. The buttons were easier to use than I expected, and I didn't really have any trouble with them, although feeling out which buttons to press in the dark can get a bit tricky. I didn't mind needing to trim it to fit my quick release adapter. My thoughts are, spending [$] to protect a $1000 camera seems like a no brainer, if you hate it you are only out [$]. That's the best I can say. I put it on for a recent weeklong trip, and its still on a week later, so I guess its not terrible. I don't have a day-pack camera bag for the 7D, so at least this adds some protection. If Camera Armor had a product for the 7D, I probably would have bought that, since I'd like some protection for the lens as well.

This skin perfect fit 7D. For my 7D with hand-grip, I need to cut some extra from the bottom. The complain is the LCD protection plate. This plate is keep moving, bad design.

Comments about Delkin Devices Snug-It Pro Skin:
Plastic screen protector does not fit snugly - so I ended up not using the screen protector that came with the kit.
I put the skin on as soon as I opened the box to the camera so I never used the camera w/o the . Except to say that the buttons on the skin do not have letters next to them (like the camera does) so for me the buttons on the skin are sort of un-identifiable.
So will take a while for me to remember what each button is - obviously this is not an issue for people familiar with the 7D.
The main (shooting) button has a nice touch to it - allowing me to control the number of shots the camera took - even at high speed setting.
I am very tough on my gear so I feel that I will be glad I bought this thing in the long run.

Comments about Delkin Devices Snug-It Pro Skin:
The skin fits perfectly. There are openings for memory card, battery, camera flash and a tripod panel on the bottom. The best part is, the skin does not intervene when I need to change the lens. I can carry the camera in a regular bag (not a camera bag) and not be afraid that it will get scratched. The skin feels great, provides a firm grip. All camera buttons and controls are in place and clearly marked for easy use. Highly recommended.

Good product, fits perfect! The main purpose to buy this product was to hide all the marks (e.g. '7D') on the body. Works good!

Comments about Delkin Devices Snug-It Pro Skin:
The Good: It fits the 7D well without the battery grip.
The Not Good: Not as protective as Camera Armor for the 5Dii (my only basis for comparison). Also does not give a confident grip on the camera - feels a bit slippery.
The ?: The lens hole tightly fits around the base of the larger lenses 24-70. This makes putting lenses on more of a struggle but I'm not sure if this has enough protective benefits to make it worth it.
The Dumb: They decided to leave the "Canon" logo area on the front of the camera unsheathed and vulnerable. The pop-up flash wouldn't be obstructed had they left this in. It's clear that this was a design decision to cut out this part of the silicone to appease the brand-name fan-boys. This front element is one of the bits of the camera that protrudes the most from the camera body. It's also quite handy in many situations to have the make of your camera obscured.

Comments about Delkin Devices Snug-It Pro Skin:
I carry two cameras and they bump. The Delkin skin is good at protecting the camera body from such bumps - I don't think it would help in a camera-drop-on-concrete situation tho. Some spongy-ness in the skin button area over the camera controls that takes getting used to but they do work. A bit more tactile slippery feel than the Camera Armor offered on B&H for the XTi, which I also bought.

While I love the extra protection it provides for my camera body, it makes the buttons hard to read. Since this is a new camera for me this is a problem. Also, I have noticed that it makes it a little harder to change the lens. But neither of these problems are enough to make me want to stop using it.

Fits nice and snug to the camera. Has a great feel to it as well. Plastic insert to protect the LCD is a bit dinky, and tends to fall out when the skin is pulled, but all in all a worthy investment to protect my camera.

Comments about Delkin Devices Snug-It Pro Skin:
The Pro Skin nicely covers the 7D. The buttons are marked and their slots for the controls that make sense not to cover.
I did not use the display covers, because they caused glare, but my experience with other Canon cameras is that the Display is scratch resistant and putting covers over it loses the quality of the display.
The Pro Skin is not designed to protect the camera from a major drop, but it certainly will keep it from getting scratched. I personally like the feel of it rather than plastic, but that is clearly up to the individual.
The 7D may be my last expensive camera. I am happy to provide some protection for it.
