The Delkin Snug-It Pro Skin (Black) provides complete protection for a Nikon D3000 digital SLR camera. The heavy-duty skin is custom molded for a glove-like fit. The thick skin provides added protection, and ridges molded into the skin allow for a better grip. All controls are molded over and around to maintain all functions. The skin is perfectly molded around the lens mount to provide the maximum amount of coverage while still allowing for quick lens changes. It is made from powder-infused silicone that provides a smooth rather than tacky feel and won't collect lint or debris. There is a hard plastic cover that protects the LCD against damage.

The grip on the Pro Skin is great for taking images in situations where you think your camera might slip and defends it against scratches and nicks quite well. Unfortunately, the model I ordered was not true to size. I ordered the Nikon D3000 version which claims to also fit the D3100... Some of the buttons and knobs are moved ever so slightly between the two models. I happen to use a pair of scissors to alter my Pro Skin and it seems to fit more "snug" now.

This skin fit my D3000 perfectly. It feels really different now but that's not a bad thing. Just something to get used to. My only complaint is that there were no clear instructions on how to install the hard plastic LCD protector and protector film. I think I figured it out. :/ Other than that everything is great!

Fits perfectly on the camera and provides a good grip without becoming too bulky. Took my camera to Puerto Rico and Vieques recently. Although the Delkin isn't sold as a waterproof protection, I did feel better having my camera out when by the ocean since I knew it had that extra layer of protection on it. Easily wipes clean, does not get sticky or gummy. I think it's a great buy and will leave it on my camera all the time.

I take this camera snowboarding, and its a great extra barrier of protection from the elements. Fits great around camera, except flash mount doesnt stay in, doesnt effect anything though. Buttons work with precision.

I like this product because its really comfortable and it can protect the camera from scratches, the only thing i don't like is that i though it would be a thicker layer. overall I'm really glad i bought it it!
