The Strand Lighting Aurora Cyc Single Light (120VAC) is a 1000W asymmetric floodlight designed to smoothly light cycloramas, scrims or other cloths up to 30' high from a throw distance of 6' to 10'. This top-performing workhorse has a well-controlled beam, with no distracting light spill--it's perfect for larger stage and studio permanent installations or temporary rental/production situations. Bulb is available separately.
- Repeatability of beam characteristics is guaranteed by the extruded aluminum reflector
- Very smooth light beam which falls off evenly without visible high lights or shadows
- Robust construction from a combination of aluminum extrusions and formed sheet steel panels
- Secure focus lock-off with proven tilt lock clamp or pole-operated screw tilt focus
- Ease of access to change the color filter without disturbing the focus position--top hinge spring lid secures the filter holder while ensuring there is no distracting light leak
- Relamp without removing the filter or breaking focus
- Filter life is maximized by the dual air-flow chamber construction
- Color filter holder is held captive by a spring-hinged extruded cover that also blocks unwanted light spill
- Automatic power disconnection via microswitch isolate the power supply when opening, preventing the insertion of a lamp into a live socket
- Safety glass ensures that in the unlikely event of a lamp exploding, the fragments are held captive within the luminaire
