The JVC GZ-MS110 Everio S Flash Memory Camera is an entry-level standard definition camcorder that sticks to basics. The GZ-MS110 records SD video with a 1/6" CCD image sensor to SD/SDHC memory cards. Helping the sensor capture your footage would be JVC's Advanced Image Stabilizer, a Konica Minolta lens, Super LoLux, and other functions like 45x Dynamic zoom. In addition to its core components the camera provides a few extras to enhance the process as well. Workflow and convenience features include Auto REC, Time-Lapse REC, a manual lens cover, a 2-way grip belt, and an A/V output. When it's time to edit what you've shot, the camera comes equipped with Everio MediaBrowser for managing, editing, and sharing your files.

I've been using this camcorder for a month now and I'm happy with it. It is small and convenient to carry around. Batter life is pretty good. Video quality is as expected for this range of camcorders. Image stabilizer and LowLux feature is another features that make this camcorder a really good one.
The only this I don't quite like is the position of the recording button - it is a bit inconvenient to press when you are holding the camcorder but it's not a deal breaker.

Nice little camera, and records nice videos. But be ready to enter the twilight zone. It records in an oddball MOD format, which can't be used with any video editing programs. There is no easy answer to converting to a useable format. I had to purchase a special MOD conversion program, but found that the loss in quality was attrocious. Combine this with the odd file naming convention (it repeats file names to make it even harder to sort through the mess.) Bottom line, they've made a nice product that is impossible to use.

I like the time lapse feature of this camera.
I have another JVC camcorder that costs twice as much with less features. I like this little camera and I don't have to worry about using and breaking it because of the price.

Comments about JVC GZ-MS110 Everio S Flash Memory Camera:
I used this camera a couple of times. It takes great video in bright light, and adequate video in low light. I used it at my daughter birthday party at the local skating rink. The lights were mostly off execpt for the flashing lights and the strobe lights and a few dim light here and there. It took pretty good pictures, although a bit grainy. This is really a pretty good camera. For the price and size of the camera.... I am satisfied. Image sabilization is good, but better if you use a tripod or someting stable like a rail or a table. I dont care as much for the editing software included, but I would like to find something a little better for uploading and editing the video.

A good, cheap and decent SD camera. It has a superb zoom, with a good image quality. Extemely easy to configure and use. If you don't want to spend a lot of money in a HD camera, this JVC camera will satisfy you. Also, it is small and fits well in your hand. Perfect for informal situations, travel and home movies.

I have used this product for over a week now for casual recording of nature.
It has excellent picture quality. It is unbelievably easy to use. I have never seen a digital recording device (camera or camcorder) that has a menu which does not confuse you.
I cannot think of anything that is bad about the camera.

Comments about JVC GZ-MS110 Everio S Flash Memory Camera:
Over the years (20+) I have had 5 different JVC camcorders. The last - an Everio hard drive unit. This unit is a very good improvement.
Two areas of interest to me which show major changes - the brightness of the screen and the stability of the zoom. Both areas are great in comparison to the older unit.
For the money and convenience - this is a great unit. Highly recommend.

Tiny and extremely easy to use.
Transferring video to the PC takes only a few seconds!!!
The only thing I don't like though:
-Standart definition
-image quality is not so good, especially in low light.

I bought this for fun and the price after borrowing a friends other cam( It was as heavy as a brick!). Loved the small size and weight. Its tiny compared to past units(almost toooo light!). I am a photographer and liked the fact that any sd card would work. Does well in low light as stated and the antishake works well(cept for all zoomed out as to be expected).Doesnt have all the extra shoot modes but I really wouldnt use them. Like the open and its on feature, tells you that the lens cover is closed(idiot proof!).

Comments about JVC GZ-MS110 Everio S Flash Memory Camera:
Very compact and light, much smaller than I expected. Relatively easy to use, although the format is different than tape camcorders I have had in the past. Software provided is limited as to editing capability. The only issue I have had is blurring of image when you pan quickly. This is not a major problem as long as you are aware of it and take precautions. Was a little disappointed in battery life (about 50 minutes of filming).
