The Hakuba Versipod II is a unique combination of a lightweight, height-adjustable monopod with a fully integrated tripod for cameras, optical devices and almost any other tripod mountable device such as photo lights, microphones, etc. Simply unfasten the hook-and-loop strap at the bottom of the Versipod to extend the three short legs for the tripod mode up to a height of 58.7". With the legs extended, the Versipod II is now a stable but lightweight tripod. In addition, the Versipod II is a height-adjustable (up to 62.5"), fully functional monopod, which will support up to 100 pounds.
The product incorporates an innovative, quick-release, mount-demount system called MagMount. The MagMount is an industry-first magnetic quick-release camera and optical device ball head. It provides for the instant attachment of almost any camera, spotting scope or other device that is mounted via industry standard 1/4"-20 threaded mounting systems.
Comes supplied with two plates: Extra Light LF (silver) and Heavy HG (black) Mag Adapters, so that all camera and optical devices are ready for instant attachment to the MagMount.
It can also be used with a binocular, but you will of course need a standardized 1/4"-20 binocular tripod adapter.
