The Bescor LED-60K 60W LED Compact Light & Battery Kit uses twin, high-output LED bulbs to produce 60W of light using only 1.2 amps of power. That means this lightweight, on-camera unit can last for over 3 hours. And since it's LED, it never gets hot to the touch. Along with a charger and 6V clip-on X-645 battery, the kit includes two filters that slide easily into the light's housing--one for diffusion, the other a yellow 4500K for changing color balance. A completely adjustable dimmer switch lets you set the light's intensity as needed.

Needed a new camera mounted light and had a wedding shoot fast approaching. Ordered this from B&H and put it right to work. The reception was in the evening (a rainy one to boot). It was supposed to be inside, but due to tight accomodations, it was moved outside under a tent. Needless to say, the lighting wasn't that great. The Bescor light took care of the problem.
I really appreciate the dial dimmer. The intensity can be adjusted to exactly where you want it, which is good since the light can be a bit harsh. Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to try the filter out.
The only thing that would improve it would be:
1. Being able to select one of the LED's instead of having both of them, which would give it finer adjustment control.
2. A longer cord. After I received the light, I went out to the local electronics chain store and purchased a short RCA cord extension, which took care of the problem.
I haven't used it enough to find out how long the battery will last.

Good for the price
Got this light for mounting on My HD-DSLR for night ENG.
NOT for weddings: Spend the money for a ringlight or a wider/softer LED panel. This is too hard.

NOT for weddings: Spend the money for a ringlight or a wider/softer LED panel. This is too hard.
For the price, this light does everything I need it to do; push out lumens without weighing down the camera (and for cheap). It is also one of the Cheepest adjustable LED camera fixtures you can buy.
CONS:
As stated before, the cord will not reach to your belt. In addition, the battery pack is allitle unweildly, and I find myself constantly fiddling with the belt clip to get it on.
The filter is quite useless and gives off a horrendous yellow tone. I ended up adding a CTO gel to the clear filter instead, but I shouldn't have had to. Lastly, I would have liked to see the barn doors that many of the other Besor light have, but thats more wishful thinking than a complaint.
If you just need a cheep, low-weight,adjustable hard light this will do it, but not much else.

I work a regular 9-5 but in my off time I like to shoot some short movies with my friends. Obviously I don't need any of the high end professional grade stuff. That's why this light is great. Not only is it tiny but this thing is BRIGHT. The fact that it comes with a battery too is just icing on the cake. I mean yeah the casing is plastic and I could see it being a little fragile, but like I said this obviously isn't meant to be a high end light.

Comments about Bescor LED-60K 60W LED Compact Light & Battery Kit:
I bought this for little use, since my camcorder is very good in low light. The light intensity is not bad, but the construction is very flimsy, to the point where it can actually embarrass you. This comes with a heavy battery with a belt clip, which would indicate that it's meant to be used on your belt, and the light on the camera. Well, the first time I used this, as soon as I started walking, the battery compartment broke from the clip and ended up hanging from the cable. You would need to see this, but the battery compartment looks like a teenager built it in his garage for a school project. It's a total piece of junk. And even though I managed to get the clip back with the battery compartment, it's so flimsy that I don't know how long it's going to stay there. That's one major problem, but there's another: if you're supposed to use the battery compartment on your belt and the light on top of the camera, then the designers at Bescor need a measurement tape, because unless you have an extremely abnormal body with about one and a half feet from your waist to your neck, you're going to have this annoying spiraling cable that goes from the light to the battery that keeps tightening itself no matter how much you stretch it. So you've got this thick cable that rubs against the camera constantly and produces annoying noises that get captured by the microphone, whether it's built in or mounted on the side clamp. Or, you can route it on the left of the camera, in which case you risk the cable touching camera settings and rings like focus, iris, etc.
Overall, this light is an abomination, unless maybe you don't plan on using it on your camcorder and you just need it to sit by itself on a tripod. But as a on camera light, it's completely unreliable, and no way it's worth the price it sells for. I'd rather put a flashlight on top of my head than using this light.

This 2 LED are very powerfull. it could be hard for people that look toward the light but It is capable to bring light in a complete dark room and getting a nice video. I used it at a wedding and I got much better result with the light ON. It is small and lightweight, the battery is very good too. I didn't recharge from the wedding 1 week ago, and I can still use my light.
I think it could last between 3 to 8 hours depending of the intensity 0W to 60W you use it. THe VB 50 that come with it is not professional. It is not very good quality, I had to fix the screw just after I received it. But it does the job. It is handy that It can be fix between the tripod (that I haven't yet) and the camera. I use the handheld to held the camera when the light is fixed. It doesn't get hot.Overall a very Good light battery and adapter.

Haven't used but once so far. Not very powerful, but adequate for a fill light. Has a full range dimmer which is a great feature in this price range. Battery is quite large and bulky with some very specific directions. Use with an HMC150.

I use the light for my weekly video interviews at ice hockey rinks where the lighting is not so great. I can really see the lighting quality difference before and after i use this product in my interviews. It gets 4 starts only because its cable is a little short which i have to hang a bag on my chest to carry the battery. But other than that, it's a very affordable, light weight on location lighting solution for videographers like me.

All purpose fill light.
LED's are funny they are not as bright as they advertise. They claim 60W but it is only as bright as my 35w Frezzi.
The wire is short if you put the battery on your belt but is perfect if you mount the battery on your camera as I did.
It does not flicker like Bescor's 35w light.
