The Marshall V-LCD70XP-HDMI-AB is a durable, lightweight 7" LCD field monitor designed for use on both camcorders and video DSLRs. Equipped with a scratch-resistant, high resolution 1.2MP TFT screen that provides exceptional clarity and brightness, this HD monitor brings a new level of ease to general framing and focus-checking. Otherwise identical to the earlier '70P' monitor, the '70XP' adds several convenient new features: manual gamma adjustment via the menu, image flip, adjustable on-screen markers, and the ability to place 1/4-20 threads on any side of the monitor for more flexible mounting.
Along with its component/composite inputs, the V-LCD70XP-HDMI-AB comes equipped with HDMI input plus a variety of screen formats, markers and user-configurable function buttons. This monitor includes an Anton Bauer battery plate adapter, for use with a wide range of Sony-type AB batteries.

Comments about Marshall Electronics V-LCD70XP-HDMI-AB 7" LCD Field Monitor w/AB Mount:
I used to own a Marshall 7" R70P. When I bought a Canon 5DmkII I needed a monitor with HDMI. The LCD70XP-HDMI was essentially the same monitor I already had, but better.
In addition to the 3-wire component HD input, which I still needed for my XDCam, the monitor has HDMI which you need for H-DSLR monitoring.
Even though its native resolution is only 800x480, I've found pulling critical focus on 1080p works fine, both on my XDCam HD F330 and Canon 5DmkII cameras.
I love the frame guides with the option to grey out the areas outside the guides. I also love the false color view for exposure. Getting proper exposure on H-DSLR cameras is tough, but with false color, you can really tell what you're getting.
A few of my gripes: Getting HDMI *AND* HDSDI is not an option. Also, although the component and composite inputs have pass-through connectors (outputs to feed into another monitor), the HDMI input is IN only. If you want to run another monitor with HDMI, you'll have to split the signal before getting to this monitor.
Overall an awesome monitor. I'm VERY glad I bought it.
