Comments about Panasonic LUMIX DMC-FP1 Digital Camera (Pink):
purchased for a person who wanted a solid, easy-to-use point-and-shoot (and did not want to fiddle around with many features beyond the basics). The camera suits the needs, feels good in the hand and takes excellent pictures. So far no disadvantages.

Comments about Panasonic LUMIX DMC-FP1 Digital Camera (Pink):
I own a Panasonic DMC-FZ28 which I also purchased from B&H Photo, whom by the way offers quality merchandise at a reasonable cost. I caught my wife using my camera and thought "ohhhh noooooo, she needs her own"! I started searching and came across the DMC-FP1 which was exactly what she needed, girly enough for her to appreciate and technically sound enough for me to spend my money on it![...] the pictures are crisp and it records video in HD...what more could you ask for at the $100-$150 price range...needless to say...WE ARE BOTH SATISFIED!!!

Comments about Panasonic LUMIX DMC-FP1 Digital Camera (Pink):
This is a great camera for the price, I purchased it as a gift for my Fiancee and we were both concerned about the image quality without manual controls. In actuality the automatic (iA) mode on this camera does great job of adjusting settings and the image quality is very good. For the price I can't think of a camera that combines small convenient size and quality as well as this one.

Comments about Panasonic LUMIX DMC-FP1 Digital Camera (Pink):
I've only had this camera for a week, so this is a first reaction: It takes good pictures, has only the most minimal shutter delay, and is very handy to carry around in my pocket. I'm very glad I bought it.
